Tell that to the goomba's ;-)
Anyway, why do the koopa troopers deserve what they get ? All the poor sods are doing is pacing around. ;-)

Actually he takes around 6 depending on the power of the weapon when his shield is depleted. I'd like to see how long you last with an assault rifle being fired at you. ;-)
And he doesn't hide behind a shield - its produced by his armour. ;-)
Anyway, Master Cheif would go down within one or two hits if he wasn't hiding behind his high-powered shield all the time!
Coward! :-P
Beats up mushrooms and turtles and if thats not bad enough - gets done over by them in 1 or 2 hits in some games.
Now thats weak. ;-))

No cause he wouldn't have to move - just shoot everything and its game over. ;-)
Just try jumping on my head with your Mario tactics and see where I stick the business end of the gun as you come down. ;-)

hehe ^_^ thats true actually, cartoons are much more violent than 'realistic' things. Look at cartoons like Tom & Gerry, they hit each other with hammers, blow each other up and I've even seen one where Gerry jacks the wall up a bit and then drops it on Tom's head. If you put a normal human in Mario's World they wouldn't survive..
Let me tell you something mister!
They might look fluffy and harmless, but you have to be strong to survive in Mario's worlds.
First off there's all that jumping. Sure, it looks easy doing those super high flips, until you try to do it yourself that is!
You're not allowed to run out of breath either.
You have to carry an infinite amount of coinage with you, which really weighs you down after a while. You live off magic mushrooms, there is no other food (although if you finally beat a quest, Peach does cook you a lovely cake! :-d - licking lips ecemotion! :-)).
The hazards are EXTREMELY dangerous.
Other than all sort of monsters out to get you, there's spikes, lava pits, falling boulders, giant bullets, huge boss characters, bombs, hurtling turtle shells...
And you're expected to take hits from ALL of these and recover within seconds!
Certain levels require you to hold your breath for ages, and ages (some require you to stay underwater without breathing at all!!!!), and no matter what you come up against, one rule still remains:
No weapons whatsoever.
Mario's world might look friendly, but if you haven't adapted to survive there, you won't last to seconds. Mario can knock out bullets by simply jumping on them with a "plock!" sound effect. "Master Chief" can only rely on a high powered shield to protect him.
He wouldn't last 2 seconds in the world of Mario... :-D

After all, that's exactly what they did when they lost the bond liscence, and Perfect Dark was the result! :-)
As for Xbox owners Vs GC owners, although there won't be any online cross link between the two consoles, if should get an Xbox on broadband, I shall fight in Nintendo's name, and blow you up in your own games! :-P

Bill can work with it when I shine it up real good and shove it up his ar$e.
