It's not like they're already changing the face of GC, is it. You'll probably still get Starfox and Perfect Dark. As for the rest, we haven't heard much of them yet anyway, so they won't be missed that much.

It's the truth.

Just to point out - the only licenses Rare own completely are Conker and Perfect Dark. Everything else is Ninty's or part Ninty's.

So what's changed?
The Gamecube's only been out 4 months.
It took well over 6 months for Rare to release Goldeneye on the N64.

And Starfox isn't good?

Pretty flawed theory, especially as Rare's games sometime's outclassed Nintendo's sometimes. What's more, they easily outclassed games from other devellopers on other systems!

Or, they haven't finished making them yet...

MS can offer as much technical support as Nintendo did, only they won't need a translator in between them!
MS are great at the technical part, it's just things like game design and imaginative ideas that they don't do so well, and as games like Conker and Perfect Dark show, Rare are hardly lacking in that department.

You never have tried to put Rare down if this rumour hadn't gone off.

You biased turnip! :-P

Ps2 won't get starfox you stupid ps fanboy.
Starfox dp is a gc exclusive and the charactors are nintys, plus the next game will be made by namco so it has nothing to do with rare.
Go away and stop posting this rubbish
(sorry i tried to put it as nicly as possible....... i think i did a good job)

Rare will not go, but If they do, Nintendo should buy Infogrames, who should be up for bidding soon.

i've heard that the deal between microsoft and rare has been agreed but they are not confirming anything as they are still trying to sort out liscenses with ninty.
Ninty will get the dk license(obvious) as well as a possibility of them getting conker as a compromise for them to keep joanna dark ( a rare charactor, but that is still partly owned and copyrighted by ninty.
They may also get the diddy kong licence( a long shot, but apparently he was created by rare)
Oh well........i don't like them now anyway

I think Rare should stay at Nintendo. That way PS2 will still get Perfect Dark and Starfox :-)
