Please not that none of this article has been confirmed yet, and it's all just rumour.
Activision didn't have enough money, but Bill 'Richie Rich' Gates's company was willing to knock down 350 million for them. This is about 500 million Euro/dollar.
Microsoft is said to have held a meeting recently with Rare in a hotel near Twycross, the developer's base. A deal was made, and Microsoft will make make a big announcement at their X02 event in Seville later this month, where the company will showcase new exclusive Xbox titles.
The rumour continues. Perfect Dar Zero will be developed exclusively for Xbox. That would also be the reason why we haven't heard from it anymore since last year's E3.

Granted those piles of cess are 'kiddys' games but the others aren't. I'm not gonna bother with the old just cause they've got cute graphics doesn't make them kiddy's games arguments cause we've had it over and over and never got anywhere.

Lol! Garbe was right? He was mad and went off spouting about games he has hardly played! And as for sound sys**tems, each console is different and different sys**tems are designed for each one. If you think it doesn't come close then you're either a bat or jus**t haven't bothered to check carefully enough. I've played on X-Boxes and GameCubes and as far as I'm concerned there's NO difference, same with the PS2. Who cares about sound? It's a very minor part of a video game! All three consoles give off quality sound and that's all I want! Anyone who wants more is jus**t being fussy or has quite a bit of money to splash around.

It's actually a fact that the GameCube can match the X-Box and also better it in some places in terms of graphics and speed. Do I care? No. I buy it because Nintendo have always been the greates**t games company in the world.

There's been a few, at mos**t games that fit that description and it also works the other way round too. Some games are better on GameCube, some are better on X-Box. It evens out.

So their opinion means nothing? I've played Halo for about two hours and at firs**t glance I don't think it comes close to the fun I experienced when firs**t playing Goldeneye 007 or Deus Ex.

So what? Nintendo own 25% of Rare and have worked closely with them on almost all of their projects.

It's coming out on GameCube and PS2 according to magazines, so I'd wait until things are confirmed.

I admit Whitestripes was a bit out of hand, but you must appreciate what your original post sounded like. You can't just go knocking GameCube games without having a proper go on them, just like I can't knock any X-Box games as all I've played is Halo for a couple of hours.
