The thing is a friend of mine asked if there was going to be a GC version. A Gamecube disc would not be able to store 1 square mile of London let alone 20miles, so sorry mate you stick to your kiddie titles like Mario, Zelda, and Pokemon.

But 1.5Gb compared with 4.25 or 8.5Gb (single sided dvd only), must be a limiting factor when creating code. What about the next 2 years. Games will get bigger, and will use that space. Nintendo developers will struggle because of the 1.5Gb limit. What about the GC Resi - 2 discs i thought.....
The games were made before these consoles were released so it was IMPOSSIBLE for them to be released at the same time.
Now all 3 games are out, multiformat games (like Turok Evolution) are being released cross platform simultaneously.
Only while the Xbox and Gamecube versions of Turok run in full glory, the PS2 version struggles a bit for lack of power.
As for disk space:
VERY few devellopers have managed to fill a DVD without simply loading a load of extra FMV and Music to fill up the space.

Yes, DVD's are 4.5 GB compared to the Gamecube's 1.5.
But while the Playstation had 750Mb CD's, the 32Mb Legend Of Zelda was far bigger than most PS games.
It's not the space you have, it's how you use it.
Also you have posted about 5 topics slating how the "PS2" is better then the Xbox/GC.

But how much more power (in real terms) does XBox have? not as much as MS would have us think! Plus, if the games are ports and don't use it anyway - whats the point of XBox (I say XBox since it currently has loads of ports, where as GC also has a number of ports - but at least attempts to offer something different as well). I also previously stated that "these games are popular, so XBox and GC need them". Indicating that XBox and GC can't be seen to do without such games.

then his PS2......, what are you on about?
