Its my birthday soon ( Sometimes Rhymes)

I cannot wait
For that dreamy little plate

Super Smash Bro's Melee
And all

The two extender cables
And Official controller
Totally free

I cannot wait so
I plee and plee
Until that wonderful day
when my questions are answered
and GAD is won

I lie in bed and wait and wait til the wonderful day when
I receive the cube!

It might be raining outside, it could even be snowing,
But there's always a place were the laughter is flowing,
A warm friendly atmosphere is certainly abound,
Stay in one forum or maybe even type around.

The members are friendly, the staff even more-so,
An uneeded remark; they're all willing to fore-go,
Just be cautious that it doesn't happen again,
Because the SR forums is a place you won't remain.

You might get angry or you could even get annoyed,
But the SR forums are where your problems are void,
Chat and joke all day long, for that is the idea,
And stay sat on your chair that you bought from Ikea.

There is a time when the above rules don't apply,
However your safe in December to June from July,
But when it occurs you remain quiet for your own protection,
That time my friends, is the notable election.

Oh what the heck! I'm feeling poetic so I might as well make one about consoles.

I call it ... Gaming ( ingenius title!!!)


I was blinded for a while
By Man Uniteds' style
Gaming was in the dark for me
But my friend got a Playstation
As well as all the attention
And I was as jealous as can be.

My other mates had Megadrives
With Streets of Rage and Sonic
But what did I have? ... zilch!
And before long I began to panic.

I gazed around my room
Looked tasteless and gloom
Without a game or console in sight
Distraught as I was
I took of my draws
And dreamed of Sonic all night.

From the day that my mate
Got a Playstation plate
I knew that this was meant for me
So I begged and begged
My parents instead
But all I got was "you're a pain in the head!"

I laughed, I cried
But I had to decide
To hassle my parents some more
Then before I knew it
They finally blew it
And got me a Playstation at dawn.

Yes, Christmas was here
Family drinking some beer
And me as happy as muck
Bashing away
On Driver this day
Never once going off for some tuck. (food)

My jealousy was gone
But soon I noticed more
How satisfying gaming can be
Whether you're bored
Or totally floored
Just play and fill up with glee.

Days went on
More games where born
And I had to add to the collection
Whether Dead or Alive
Or Parappa's jive
You could never turn my attention.

My heart was fixed
On the Sony mix
And they became my favouritees
Sega and Nintendo
They put up a good show
But Sony remained top to me.

Now into the next-gen
Reality is setting in
That gaming has a promising future
Graphics are getting crisper
Gameplay is getting swifter
And consoles are performing faster than ever.

You must admit
That nothing can beat
A good gaming session
Whether completing a game
Or fighting through Payne
It's just great controlling the action!

My time has come
My work is done
And SR does it for me
Whether talking to mates
Or dissing Bill Gates
It's all good stuff in the end

... you'll see.
