"Star Wars: Rogue Leader"

I've just competed this rock hard game (admittedly, with the use of the advanced upgrades and double lives cheat), and I have to say, it isn't that good. I should really save this for my review, but whilst playing, there was no soul, no feeling, in the game. To me, it was just a fancy looking game, with twitchy controls.

Did anyone else experience this, or am I alone on this one (in which case, the Force has left me)?

Woah. It's like a league of super gamers in here. I feel so small with my pitiful few silvers and ample bronzes.

Endurance mode sucks @ss, it took me 274 minutes to complete every stupid wave, my wrists were killing me. Im not even considering doing the level again in ace mode, i simply cant be bothered with it.

I think Rogue Leader is an excellent game!
Thrilling and challenging, which makes it one of the most satisfying games in existence.

However.

A little while ago, I managed to get EVERY gold medal, and obviously acquired every secret level. Once I obtained the remarkable easy gold medal on The Revenge on Yavin level, I opened up...Endurance.
It sucks.
Hard.

It's not necessary! Why did they put such a boring, repetitive level the game? Believe it or not, people who have yet to experience it, but to do it it takes about 4 hours. Really! During those ridiculously boring 4 hours, the scenary doesn't change at all, and nor do the enemies.
It really does suck, and is extremely dull and disappointing.
The only reason I'll even consider trying again is because I want to unlock the ACE MODE.
Unless there's a cheat to do that.
This will be the only time in my LIFE I have ever used a cheat to COMPLETE a game, but not use on to enjoy one more. If you know what I mean. :-)
Anyway, don't get excited when you unlock endurance.

It is really poor.

If I had to have a favourite level, then it must be the Bespin one, although I'm at aloss to giving a reason; maybe it was the lovely sunset.

I wasn't exactly overwhelmed by it at first.

But, stick at it and it grows on you.
Even that stupid Heist mission is fun once you get to know it.

That first level was a HUGE disappointment though, espcially after the epic battle that the magazines were promising me...

I have to say, the game didn't do much for me either.
Got it with the cube, but haven't played it all that much. Maybe that's why, but if you have to play a game for ages despite not enjoying it - just so that you get into it.. well, that kind of sucks anyway.

Indeed it did BPM. There ARE TIEs in episode 1, 2 and 3 aren't there? Either way, it'll still have that magic we found in the first two RS games.

i think most games get crap when you'r just trying to get to the end. that certainly seems the way things work to me. did that last sentance make sense?

The next game has to stay in the original Star Wars universe if they're to make a sequel, I wanna fight Tie Fighters and Star Destroyers not some Episode 1 crap.

Yeah, they should do the same with episodes 1, 2, and 3.
