Did anyone else experience this, or am I alone on this one (in which case, the Force has left me)?

You could be in for a long wait. The players choice range did come out relatively late in the N64's lifetime.

Yeah there are extra expert stages, however luckily sega arent too sadomasochistic, as long as you complete expert without using a CONTINUE then you get the extra stages.
It seems people are getting confused with master mode. It is "unlocked" after you complete expert and the extra expert stages withough using a continue.
Master mode consists of 10 ROCK hard levels, and you may only play them by playing through epert and extra expert stages without continuing, or playing the master stages you have played on from the practice screen menu.
After master there are no more levels to complete.
I still offer to copy my save file to peoples memory cards.

Battle of Endor hd to be the hardest level to get Gold on. Took me ages.
Oi, cookie, are there extra levels on Expert? If so, that means you'd have to complete it WIHOUT LOSING A LIFE!
Don't tell me you've done...
Are there extra levels on MASTER? If you've done that, too...
