At first i couldn't decide which one to get what with sonys previous success but i am a loyal nintendoid so this should be tricky.
Firstly which has better graphics, hah are you kidding the gamecubes are almost like real life and totally brilliant whereas a dreamcast could probably handle the ps2's then theres multiplayer,ps2 hmmm 2 controllers and sonys imagination i think ill opt for the gcs 4 player+internet ability. Then i wondered about the games, most people may dissagree but i think that sony make terrible games with the exception of ff7 [ff8 was naff though]
whilst Nintendo are imaginative and produce the most original games ever. So Gamecube it is then, oh also what kind of name is playstation 2 anyway and soon there will probably be a tomb raider 25 where laras an old granny. Well Cya!

Youre not going to want to play an original playstation game on our PS2 when you can play Ridge 5. Youre alspo probably not wanna play the 2 only decent launch titles you got.
You will probably want to play Dreamcast games.
And at £150 with 3 games or £300 for that and a REGION FREE dvd player it is a slightly better deal. Oh, and of course, with BleemCast you can play your original Playstation games in TWICE THE RESOLUTION, something you just mite want to do..

Ok so i don't really know how many of you peeps are from europe. But i live in the usa where the ps2 has already been released. what really makes me made is half you probally have never played the ps2 and your already saying a peice of crap like dream cast is better. But oh wait here comes the dolphin. oh its gonna be a lot better then the ps2. well nobodys played that yet so how do ya know. and my gosh n64 was alot slower then snes. ive played n64,dreamcast,playstation1, and for about an hour ps2. and guess which one was the best.drum role da da da ps2. big surprise. and people complaining about the price. well if ya seperate it all out and put back together. you got dvd thats about $200 worth right there. then ya got the playstation games its self. thats about $150. then cd player $100. and ive heard from the friend that let me play his ps2. that you can burn cds with it so right there is $200. now add it up $650 and all sonys asking for is $300. and for the guy that said you get no games with it. your not worthy of owning such a prized posseion if you aint got forty bucks lieing around. you can also play old playstation games on it. so you really don't have to run to the store to buy a game to play on it. oh wait i see you probally dont own a psx so you dont have any old games. well if you dont own psx dont bother getting a ps2. you can get left behind like all those other console makers. see sonys already got plans for the next generation of consoles. and the only good things nintendo put out where game boy color and snes. so bottom line is ps2 the best over all console. and gameboy is the best thing nintendo could come up with. and what is dream cast doing out in public. the only difference i noticed was was four controller outputs. well go buy a multitap. finally nintendo discovers cds. oh and the only good thing ever came out of the uk was the harry potter series.

and most of the FF series appeared on nintendo consolesat first. till sony made them come to life.

FF i taake it you mean final fantasy, well even though they arnt PS2 series but PSX series, even though these games are massive, soon they might b to big for other console apart from the x-box and PS2 cuz of the DVD memory. uinless you want a silly 7 discs. has MGS2 been confirmed??? or is it one? sheeeesh if it's true you mean the Game cube will actually have an adult game and a good one?

Most PS2 games are going to GameCube anyway. The FF series, MGS 2 and Crash Bandicoot are all coming to GameCube. They will hopefully nestle in nicely with all the original Nintendo games. The rela games. Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Pokemon, PD 2.....

I liked the Gameboy pokemon games but Pokemon Stadium was seriously unimspiring (poor animation, most moves didn't make contact and seeing as the controls, moves and battles were ported of the gameboy, well it was just a cash in on the Franchise!).

Also, anyone who bought Red, Yellow and Blue seriously need their head checking. It's exactly the same game.
Pay £20 to play brand new Pokemon red/blue game (great idea!)

Pay another £25 to play the same game except Pikachu follows you around (are you out of your mind!)

See the point?

Even if Pokemon Yellow was a cheap cash in, I'm still looking forward to an imported version of Pokemon gold!
