Yep, just bought a Satrun along with Magic Carpet and Fighting Vipers (this game is amazing! Can anyone remember how do do the Pepsiman cheat?).

Anyway, I'm savouring the box... haven't played yet.... might just have to plug it in soon...

For over 2 years on these forums, I've been reminding people that the Saturn was in fact the first console to have an analogue stick (if you could call it a stick!) on the pad- Finally I find someone who realises it! Welcome to the forums Narcissi!

As soon as I get my first pay check I will indeed be getting NiGHTS! with the analogue stick, and will be looking out for Panzer Dragoon Saga. Thanks for reminding me about Fighters Megamix btw.

I used to have a Saturn.

Fighting Vipers was great, but if you like that then see if you can get hold of Fighters Mega mix (NOT virtual fighters re-mix, that was pants!).
It had all the characters from Virtua Fighter and all the Characters from Fighting Vipers, plaus loads of extras.

Do you know that Nights has a date setting and you can get it to have different graphics(or was that Christmas Nights, I had both so I can't remeber.) I know that there is a lot more to nights than meets the eye.

Have you got one of the analogue pads (the Saturn was the first console to have Analogue and also the first console to be internet compatible!)?

Well, the saturn was the pinicle of Sega's software achievements- they perfected arcade conversions and gave us games like NiGHTS! and Panzer dragoon- which now sells for more than £100 second hand!

Anyway, I've just been playing fighting vipers, and you'll never guess what... It's exactly the same as DOA2. You can catch punches, reverse moves, do cool throws, and use the arena walls to slam people against- simply put, DOA2 is a copy of this game (with better graphics of course!). The only thing DOA2 doesn't copy is the armour... which means that you get to see those gals in nearly nothing from the outset rather than having to knock their armout off!
