Sony scored a big hit with the PS1 and platinum games, which were affordable quality games that had to sell a certain amount to turn platinum, while N64 was still trying to sell cartridges for £64.99 Sony's platinum range came in at £19.99 and proved a big hit.
I am glad to see they are carryiing on the tradition with there PS2 platinum range. I mean lets face it GT3 is a far superior game to Project Gotham and yet it is have the price. They say you have to pay for quality but on this evidence you don't.

Look, trust me on this one. You can be anyone and follow different storylines etc. It's an excellent game.

Good job it does then! I have a friend who owns it.

I would if it existed.
If only it did...

Well, if it DOES come out on XBox, it will. Just compare the X-Box GTA3 to the PS2 GTA3.

No it won't. GTA is PS2 Exclusive for a while yet.
Pokemon deserves a lot of credit, not only are they great adventure games for all ages, but they are very good games to introduce younger gamers to RPGs.
E.G--my brother played all the Pokemon games over the years, and he's now gained good gaming skills to go on and play Final Fantasy 7 on the PSone. So without the training that Pokemon gave him he might not be ready to play a more complex game like FF7.
It was the extreme merchandising which has annoyed many people and turned them against it, but you can never say that the Pokemon games are crap, because that's very far off the mark.
Notice how it's mainly Sony fanboys who belittle Pokemon. Perhaps they think they're too grown up and mature for any childish games like Pokemon.
(Even though they love Crash Bandicoot, Jak & Daxter etc)

Er.. Sales rose by 170% due to the release of Mario Sunshine. You can't say it's worse, those games you've mentioned have been out a hell of a lot longer.
> Don't forget, the Sims (new 3D version for PS2),
The Sims rules on PC and always will. Sims belong to the PC. Oh, and it was completely 2D for the PC was it? Moron.

I don't know about GameCube, but GTA4 will kick @rse on XBox. Trust me.

What?

I played the demo. It does NOT live up to expectations.
