Sony scored a big hit with the PS1 and platinum games, which were affordable quality games that had to sell a certain amount to turn platinum, while N64 was still trying to sell cartridges for £64.99 Sony's platinum range came in at £19.99 and proved a big hit.
I am glad to see they are carryiing on the tradition with there PS2 platinum range. I mean lets face it GT3 is a far superior game to Project Gotham and yet it is have the price. They say you have to pay for quality but on this evidence you don't.

No 6 million people must have a lot of anger brewwing up inside them, either that or they're used to playing very mediocre games so ot them GTA3 is tbeir God.
In a world where Simpsons Wrestling can sell millions of copies, sales figures have absoloutly nothing to do with quality.

Driver 3's coming out on GC.

6 million people must be wrong then.

Name a game that is graphically better than GT3 at £19.99 on the GC or any system I rest my case.
As for GTA would look better on Xbox I have seen the NHL 2002 and it looks no better than the PS2 version, the reason why no one is buying Xbox is because the difference in graphics is not enough to justify changing over.

Sorry my friend, but here are the features that have been developed:
- Better graphics
- The ability to choose who you are and follow their storyline
- More missions
- Choose what gang
By the way, the GameCube has MUCH MUCH cheaper prices than sony. Hats off to them I say as they're the only company that deliver affordable gaming.
And as I've said so many times before, Sony don't own these games at all, if they're not exclusive to the PS2 they're not 'ports' they're 'multi format games'. Something like 'Sonic Adventure 2' is a port, as it was originally meant to be exclusive. Sorry, but.. - wait, I'm not sorry - SCEE have a very small number of good games.

If GTA3 came out on an Xbox would it be down graded because the Xbox only runs at 733mhz and you need a 750mhz P3 pc to run the pc version.

I kind of agree there, when the exclusivity runs out, which it will in only a matter of years, we will more than likely see GTA3 be finally ported to the x-box, and if not that game, then GTA4. Either way I think it's safe to assume the GTA series will eventually make an appearance on microsofts console.

Even if it could come out on the Xbox it would only look like the PS2 version because it was developed for the PS2 first and is only a port.
Then again most of the games on Xbox and GC are old games rehashed at more expensive prices.
