Sony scored a big hit with the PS1 and platinum games, which were affordable quality games that had to sell a certain amount to turn platinum, while N64 was still trying to sell cartridges for £64.99 Sony's platinum range came in at £19.99 and proved a big hit.
I am glad to see they are carryiing on the tradition with there PS2 platinum range. I mean lets face it GT3 is a far superior game to Project Gotham and yet it is have the price. They say you have to pay for quality but on this evidence you don't.

Really? I'd still be inclined to disagree. I think Nintendo have got the cheapest, well, everything on the market at the moment in terms of gaming. Did you make a mistake or do I have your meaning wrong?

looking at it like that we may aswell not buying games released on 3rd of may which we want and just wait for the down in price ones.
glad u said that i was about to buy star wars which will surely become platinum.
i hope.
> Does anyone know what the difference between Disk and Disc is?
Well I know Disk is short for Diskette, whereas Disc is the word used for Cds, DVDs, ODs, etc.
Floppy disks use the 'k' spelling instead of the 'c' spelling.
I'm sure someone with more technical knowledge can explain a logical reason for it...
But this person is clearly a fanboy. He mentioned that games like Burnout were "so yesterday", what do you flippin' expect? If it's going to be multiformat, they can hardly release it before the GC was released. So it has to be delayed to wait for the GC. And to gamecube owners, the game is still new. Everyone gets their game. Everyone's happy.
How old are you? I want the truth.
How big is it going to be and how fast?

No you don't need the upgrade disc
My PS2 worked fine without one for the 3 months before I bought one, and plenty of third party companys sell remote controls that come with no upgrade disc, yet still work fine. The Upgrade disc was just used and an incentive to get people to buy a Sony remote
Does anyone know what the difference between Disk and Disc is?
