Sony scored a big hit with the PS1 and platinum games, which were affordable quality games that had to sell a certain amount to turn platinum, while N64 was still trying to sell cartridges for £64.99 Sony's platinum range came in at £19.99 and proved a big hit.
I am glad to see they are carryiing on the tradition with there PS2 platinum range. I mean lets face it GT3 is a far superior game to Project Gotham and yet it is have the price. They say you have to pay for quality but on this evidence you don't.

Ofcourse they could. They just didn't want to. Get your facts straight!

I believe Panasonic are the ones that profit more from it than Nintendo.

Funny how my memory card is working fine!
so step up Panasonic - it's your lucky day

The SD adaptor allows you to use one of Panasonics universal memory cards which can save more than just videogame files such as mp3s.
- just gets

The GameCube isn't the last Nintendo console. Just that instead of getting Shigeru Miyamoto to design the next Nintendo system right now, they're letting him make games for his living until the GameCube stops selling.
Please note: You are the opposite of a fanboy. I.e. an idiot who has a go at one company alone because he knows nothing about them

Well that says it all doesn't it. Ninty couldn't make a DVD console, so they got Panasonic to make it (the Q). Now we find Ninty can't make a good enough Memory card, so step up Panasonic - it's your lucky day (again)! *Users are warned that an adaptor is required - just gets better and better doesn't it. Is it that Ninty can't make the hardware or is it they are "winding down" in some areas in regards to the GameCube is the last Ninty console.
Anyway, whoever started this topic, I think you'll find the only reason that lotsa PS2 games are cheap is because they are old... you don't see any brand new releases on PS2 for £20, just the games that've been out for quite a while... DO you think anyone would pay full price for something that's two or even one year old...?
Anyway... can this thread be shot and left to die quietly yet...?
It is made by panasonic and you need this adaptor thing to put it in.
It is 64MB. the adaptor it the same shape and size as the official memory card and the 64MB thing is really thin and small and is a blue colour.
