Ok, I've just had an idea to liven this forum up.
Quite a simple concept, I'm going to start a World Cup tourny on Pro Evo, and I'm going to let you lot pick a team from the list below. I'll post the scores as they happen to keep you up to date.

Argentina (Hercules!) vs Denmark (MJSwerve)
1st Half report
This is match is, hopefully, going to be one of the best one’s of the tournament. Argentina kick off.
Denmark have the first shot on goal, only to have it go flying over the bar. A Danish midfielder made room for the cross and the header which met it wasn’t too far off, Denmark have come out fighting here. The first Argentinian opportunity seems to of replicated one of the danish’s, a whipped cross met by the head of their stiker and just went over the bar of the opposite post. Goal Kick to Denmark, Schmeichal hits it long headed down, a thru ball, oooh there’s an opportunity here the strikers found some room, but the Argie defence pushes him wide, ooh, some silky skill took the midfielder past two Argie defenders, he chips the cross in, cleared, chested down by a Dane…… volleyed towards goal…Off the post and out for a Goal Kick!
Some good build up work by the Danish has given their striker a great opportunity here.. 1 on 1 with the keeper….he blasts it over!
Argentina have a chance here, it’s been intercepted just outside the box, it’s blasted towards goal… the keeper gets a hand to it, it’s picked up by the argie winger, crossed in, met by the head of Batistuta…1:0 ARGENTINA lovely finish.
Denmark have a chance here… he’s beaten the last man, he’s clean on goal…oh dear lord, a typical Argentinian tackle, he scythed the player down right on the edge of the box… and not even a yellow card! Free-kick Denmark, can they score? He hit’s it… over, just.
A shoulder barge has given the anes another chance to equalize with a free-kick just outside the area, he shoots…Over

The Argies have unsurprisingly taken the lead, even though it’s been a tight game, it’ll be hard for the Danes to pull back, but then again, this has been a world cup of shocks, so don’t rule out anything.
2nd Half Report.
The Danes kick off. A cfast low cross comes flying in from the Danish Winger, it hit’s an Argie defender, he’s put it past his own keeper!…wait… it’s going wide for a corner… NO… the Danish striker has reacted quickly he’s just got to the ball before it went out, he’s gonna score! AND HE DOES DENMARK HAVE EQUALISED DENMARK 1:1 ARGENTINA 57 mins gone.
Argentina kick off. Another clumsy Argie tackle has left Denmark with yet another free kick just outside the box, he shoots… No…he crosses…and it goes out for a throw in…well done you twonk.
A long throw by the Danish winger, a lobbing header… it’s over the keeper!… and over the bar onto the roof of the net! How close. A dane defender has been caught in possession leaving the Argie striker 1 on 1, will he score? NO, The keeper miraculously saves it. Another pointless tackle has resulted in an Argie boking. 84 mins gone. Corner to Denmark in the dying moments, can they snatch a winner? Crossed in, half cleared, passed to a player in a tight box, he signals for him to give it back, he plays a thru ball,hit’s a defender, comes back to the striker, he’s got some room, he smacks it across the goal… DENMARK HAVE TAKEN THE LEAD IN STOPPAGE TIME DENMARK 2:1 ARGENTINA. Injury time. Argentina have one last attack, crossed in by the winger… surely they can’t… can they? Half cleared IT’S ALL OVER ARGENTINA ARE OUT

Cameroon (Da_Linksta) vs Slovenia (Ortega)
1st Half Report.
Cameroon kick off, Slovenia has an early spell of possession here, a thru pass to Seliok has given Slovenia a chance here, he blasts it from just outside the box…and it just goes over. A clumsy challenge by a Slovenian defender has left Cameroon with a free kick in a good spot, he hit’s it… it flies towards the top corner, what a save, the keeper miraculously gets a hand to it and tips it over the bar. Some neat play by Slovenia has left their winger in a crossing position on the near side, but the defence manage to put the ball out for a throw, the danger is still on here, it’s crossed in, half cleared booted back in, but that’s well over hit, goal kick. Some good build up play has given the far-side winger some room to deliver the cross, but the cross is disappointing and is easily cleared. A bad tackle has been punished, free kick for Cameroon, he will have to cross it, it’s too far out, it’s whipped in, it’s met by the head of Embode, it’s heading right into the bottom corner of the opposite side of the goal, the keeper is rushing to get to it, but he cant reach it 1:0 CAMEROON, what a goal. Slovenia kick off, 22 mins gone. Slovenia’s pesky winger is at it again, he whips in a cross that deflects off for a Slovenia corner. It’s hit in, cleared, Cameroon are on the break, Obemle is 1 on 1 with the keeper, will he score? He hits the bar, Slovenia are somehow still in this game. A bad challenge by Shong is punished with a yellow card and Slovenia have yet another opportunity here. He goes for goal, the keeper is caught out, ooh, it just grazes the bar of the unguarded corner. Half time is looming, and there’s the whistle, the players march off the pitch.

2nd Half Report
Some good play from Slovenia there ended with a quick cross being met with a glancing header that just sent the ball over, unlucky. Slovenia have come out fighting, they are dominating possession. A long ball has been played over the top by Cameroon, the keeper should collect this with ease, but wait, he’s jumped sideways and only parried, right into the path of Cameroon’s striker, it’s an open goal can he keep his nerve, he shoots for the opposite corner, it’s going to be close, Oh crikey, it hits the post and goes wide, what a heart pounding moment there for the Slovenians. A bad challenge has presented Cameroon with another free kick in a promising position, he shoots…and hits the bar, so close yet so far away. Slovenia are running up the field, a thru ball has left Slovenia’s striker 1 on 1 with the keeper, oh and what a disappointing shot, he went straight down the middle and it just rebounded off the keeper’s leg before he claimed it, nearly an equalizer there. But now the same thing has happened at the opposite end, can the Striker seal the match for Cameroon? No he can’t, he passed the ball just past the keepers leg and past the post aswell, unlucky. 80 mins gone. Slovenia’s wingr has made room for the cross, it’s met by the head of the striker, it’s going in! No, it deflects off a defender and out for the corner. The corner’s whipped in, met by the head of Seliok, directed at the back post……..
