I managed to get hold of a copy of this amazing game!!!
I played it round a mates last week and was amazed!! I spent all week wondering how I could get a Japanese game working on my PAL PS2, I sorted it yesterday!!!

Yeah, but I'm thinkin if you didn't like Pro Evo 1, you're not gonna be that impressed with WE6!!!!
Konami have made quite a few great improvements, but not too many, so it does still play a lot like Pro Evo 1!!!!

I have no problemo with realistic games and ones that are goal-less. I love my matches on TIF2002 because they are realistic and mostly end up with a low score. My highest goal count in a game is 6-0. Which was still very realistic as I was playing against a poor division 1 side with Chelsea (myself).
I dont know exactly what it is about Pro Evo that makes me not like it but I just get very bored playing. For me, its like watching a very boring match on TV with nothing special or anything happening.
However, in TIF2002 theres tons of things that keep me entertained, from all the techiniques touching the ball like passes and shots and tackles etc to the crowd and thier chants (best...... crowd...... ever!).
Also, with all the different things to do like the tournements, it keeps me busy...... Pro Evo only had the master league or whatever and I found that complicated and boring.
Anyways, my views of Pro Evo 1 will not make me hold a slight grudge on WE6 (PE2). I will play it and make my decision then.
I hope its good though, or else you will have it! I'll kick you in Linksta!

Exactly.. one of the best gemes i can remember playin WAS a 0-0 draw, only it had everything but a goal, hit posts and crossbar, sending off, missed penalty, amazing saves and goal line clearence from a corner, you know when guy stands on line and does that spazzy flick with his leg, for once, he actually stopped it.
It's a pity you can't save the whole match higlights to memory card, althought it would use alot of space up i guess.
I was trying to convice my bro-in-law that Pro Evo was best footy game ever yesterday, while he was playin FIFA 2002 World Cup on ps1, and he still wouldn't have it.....some people!!
Pro Evo rules, when will people wake up to that fact.

This is Football 2002 is the best football game ive ever played. I love it. Absolutely great game.
However, when I played Pro Evo, I really disliked it. It was just pathetic. By that I meen it just bored the life out of me. It was like watching a real boring game on TV.
Im not saying that WE6 (PES2) is going to be the same but im going to give it a big chance anyway.
Lets hope I get my PS2 back soon.
