...the Ps2 is still outselling the combined sales of the GC and Xbox by over 5 fold! (In Japan at least).

Sales for the week May 27th-June 2nd in Japan:

PS2: 60,000
GBA: 36,200
PS1: 7,900
Xbox: 5,700
GC: 5,400

It depends if its of the same quality being the company split up over sony and ninty could be crap though I highly doubt it

I'm sure GameCube sales will go through the roof in Japan when Final Fantasy is released for it. Yamauchi said it will be out "within the year"

Ninty expect to shift 50 Million GameCube's by March 2005.

Yeah maybe for a week, but the GC is still ahead by about 400,000...

If these are the UK sales, then of course they're like this. Why?


Because nobody has any stock, duh!!! I'm sure if there was an infinite supply to the retailers, GC would be selling loads, but the fact that very few shops have any makes it hard for peope to buy consoles.


And if they aren't UK sales, I retract the beginning statement :S
