"StarFox Name Change (for Europe anyway)"

Been confirmed by Nintendo. StarFox Adventures: Dinosaur Planet is to be called Lylat Wars Adventures: Dinosaur Planet.

Lylatwars is a crap name they should have stuck with the SNES name Starwing that was a bit better.

I guess you dont remember the huge delay between us getting RAREWARE games such as Banjo-Tooie and Conkers Bad fur day when compared with the US releases...

There is no need for Nintendo to be releasing games earlier for us becasue we are 5 months behind the US in the release scheldule and will be getting hardly any games at the same times as the americans.

It can't be called Starfox over here because some company has it register or copyright or something like that. Anyway it doens't apply to America so it's called Starfox there.

StarFox does sound lots better.

However, I think theirs a problem with the name StarFox over here, which is probably why they changed it.

When people see the name Lylatwars they will think back to the N64 space shooter. Somthin which this game is not. So why do it? A lot of people will associate this game just by the name with the N64 game, which a lot of people seemed to hate.

Maybe use the lylatwars name for the Namco shooter but surely Starfox is the name to use for this game.

Oh well, I'll be getting it on import anyway as soon as freeloader/action replay comes out...
