For me, its not started off at all like any of the previous games, they seemed to throw you into the action straight off, you got to actually do some playing while the story got off to a rushing start, this game hasnt done that to me yet, and this is one of the most important parts of the game.
You have to say that a game really needs a good begining to get things up and running, FF10 starts pretty slow....then with the blitzball scene it gets really good and im starting to think im back in FF, them something strange happens and the game just slowed down again.
Its not all bad, im intrigued to find out whats happening next, and it does seem to be building to something big, its just that, well, i think the graphics may have gone to Squares head at the minute, so far i havent played, i have watched, i hope its starts to improve in that aspect soon.
Got to say though, the graphics and character animations are very nice indeed, but still, a little more play would be nice sometime soon.

That's nothing. There are far harder fights in the game.
In the cave where you get Yojimbo, some guy summonsa Dark Yojimbo who takes 99,999Hp with each hit.
On Mushroom Rock Road 3 sisters are summoned, one of whom has a move which takes 99,999HP off every single one of your characters!
On Bikanel there is a dark Ifrit who takes around 20,000 with each attack.
And if you go back to where you fought Yunalesca then there is a Dark Bahamut! Can't remember how much he takes but it has gotta be 99,999HP.
I seem to remember coming across that Shiva one too but I can't remember where.
Oh and then there is Ixian on he Thunder Plains. He casts Thundaja! With a J. That certainly aint on the sphere grid.

The easiest way to beat him is if Yuna knows reflect and dispel. Just cast reflect on him when he trys to cure himself he will cure you, although later he casts reflect on one of your party members then casts curaga on them which reflects back to him. So just use dispel to get rid of that.
Has anyone with the airship gone back to Besaid and fought that bloke who summons a black valefore? I can't beat him every one of his attacks takes 9999hp it gets so frustrating.
Anyway, you took your Stats GCSE today 1/2pint, right? How did you find it?
I thought it was bloody hard. By far the hardest GCSE I've had. That last question was impossible. Plus, I had to work out the formula for Standard Deviation IN the exam and I had no idea about Spearman's rank. I quick read through the textbok would have done me some good I think. Ahh well, it's all in the past. And considering I only got 15/40 on my coursework (marked extremely generously), I need a damn high percentage in the exam do get a good grade. It was my teacher's fault though! All her fault! One - she isn't as clever as anyone in my maths class! And two - she told us that the coursework was worth 5% so I didn't do any. Then the day before it's due in she tells us it's actually worth a hell of a lot more. So I have one night to do it in. Grrrr....
Anyway, I need to find a weapon for Auron that has at least 3 empty slots. Any ideas where I can find one?

Same with me!!! My Bahamut is incredibly strong, he's amazing. What's funny is that Wakka has got 9999 HP, he attacks for 9999 damage and is generally amazing. Everybody else is lurking in the 4000 HP area and are extremely weak. I find that funny. Strange too.
However, I by chance equipped a weapon for Rikku which had Poisonstrike. When I attacked him, he was poisoned and once that happened, it was incredibly easy. It took about 4500HP every turn.
I have enough amulets for Pickpocket now but I haven't added it to a weapon yet. I have a weapon for Rikku with 4 empty slots so I'll put Gillionaire and Pickpocket on there.
And I have a new record for amount of HP taken off with one normal attack for Bahamut. It was on Stratovis and I took 70,000!!!! With just one normal attack! I was very impressed by his power. all that levelling up certainly payed off. And it wasn't a fluke either because in the very next hit I took 68,000.
In the end i found that Bio really helps, not only does it take HP off him but he wastes a go by using Ensuna (sp) so only gets to use one Curaga, and then you just put Bio on him again. The time i did defeat him it was done pretty easily...2 hours leveling up for a 10 minute fight. Little annoyed, but glad to get it done.
And I haven’t beaten Omega Weapon yet. I beat Ultima and then warped to some other area where I had to keep walking down all these stone platforms suspended above Lava. I fought Omega but he killed me twice. I’m sure he’ll be easy picking now though. I’ll do that later. It’s just a really long walk!
Anyway, I still don’t have the last fiend on the Djose Highroad. I’ve walked up and down the Highroad itself, every ‘Moonflow’ area and the Mushroom Rock Aftermath bit for hours and still I haven’t found the last fiend!! What makes it even more annoying is that it’s just a little f****t fiend. It’s the second one that shows up in the arena menu for Djose Highroad. I can’t find it!!!
All my characters have been boosted up loads since my last showdown with the boss I was stuck on. I think I’ll give him another shot now. Plus, I found the chest in Zanarkand Temple when I went back there. That means I only need a chest in Bevelle Temple in order to get another secret Aeon. However, Bevelle is still blocked and I can’t get in. That’s why I’m gonna try that boss again. Hopefully once I kill it, Bevelle will open up again.
AND I LEARNED THE JECHT SHOT FOR TIDUS!!!! I thought that since I failed the first time I wouldn’t get another shot. However, it suddenly occurred to me that the ball may still be on the boat so I took a boat trip from Besaid to Kilika. Unfortuantely, the ball wasn’t there. But then I remembered you only got a go at it on the way to Luca so I went to Luca on the boat. I saw the ball, went over to it and had another try at doing the Jecht shot. Did it in my first attempt and then went to play some Blitzball. I’m now back on the team! I dropped Wedge to make way for my rather unspectacular come back in a match against the Ronsos. I scored with myself just once and 10 times with Blappa. That was my record win, and it remained for a whopping 0 matches as in the very next match (against the Goers) I won 12-0. It should have been around 15 but I didn’t score once in the last half of the second half!
Oh and I upgraded Bahamut loads! He can now take 37,000HP with just one normal attack! I haven’t tried his overdrive again yet but I’m hoping for 70, maybe even 80,000.
And I’ve customised some weapons for Yuna and Lulu too. Magic Booster and Alchemy (that’s how I bought the weapons – had to more gaps) and then I put MP cost 1 on it. I’m saving the last gap for Break Damage Limit as Ultima, Flare and Holy will absolutely kick some buttock once I can take over 9999. However, I only have 2 Dark Matters. Dunno how many you need for Break Damage Limit but I’m hoping not a lot. If you get 99 Dark Matters off the Arena guy for 5 of each fiend then hopefully it’ll only be 10 for Break Damage Limit as I want Ribbon for each of my men too. How many does that require? Anyone know?
By the way, my game has now reached the 80 hour mark. The last thing I tried was that Cactuar thing in Bikanel. I found 5 of them, but then I couldn’t find Voroja (or something like that). It said he seeked the shining blue so I went straight to the oasis but he wasn’t there. Then I thought Shining Blue might be referring to the sky so I looked for very high places. In the end, I resorted to just searching everywhere for him but that didn’t work either. Any ideas?
I think I’ll stop writing now….
Oh one more thing, England suck. They may be through but that was just lucky. Nigeria should have beaten them. They had so many chances but just could not put one away. And Argentina should have won too. It’s just because of that damn retard who missed two headers in the first half. The first one was a sitter! I could have scored that!!
And as for the Uruguay guy! Don’t get me started! He is going to be shot on return to his country. If he had scored that header in the last minute they’d be through (and Senegal wouldn’t) I think my sister could have scored that! The simplicity of it is beyond words! He didn’t need an ounce of power, just accuracy.
