OK, lets keep this going gamers. For beige box and country!!
Or something like that. :)
Age of Wonders, WarCraft III, NeverWinterNights... I'm like the cat that got the cream =)
It is fantastic that as several "must have" games are released, I'm winning enough GADs to get them all free...
I already have two consoles and a ton load of games to play, so I'm not up to buying another game right now. Looks like I'll have to sort out my games collection and get rid of a few titles which I don't or can't play anymore. Should have done it a while ago really.
Anyway, I reinstalled SWAT 3 the other day and I forgot how great the game was. Very realistic, but like Op. Flaspoint, that's one of the things which makes the game so fun to play. Some pretty smart A.I. not great, but better than most games out now, and some very realistic settings in the city of LA makes this game actually feel like youre a part of a SWAT team.
I have my doubt as to the new SWAT game though, sinse it's being made in conjunction with the x-box version so will probably concentrate more on shooting everyone you can rather than trying to bring criminals down unhurt. Hopefully I'm wrong, and it'll be great if the game is as much fun to play as number 3 is. Fingers crossed anyway.
All this Inance drivel is driving me Inane! (or is that Insane????)
Hey jocks, decided which broadband service provider your going to go with? Which ever one you choose, make sure they give all the help guides and info with it. I had a problem with my internet connection a few days ago, and I wasn't given any help or troubleshooting guides with my broadband unit, so spent the day offline while I tried to fix it. I managed to get it back online, but those help books would have come in very useful.
I've been tied up (fnarr fnarr) with some serious Flashpoint - Resistance gaming recently, so I've been away a while.
My last three purchases,
Operation Flashpoint-Resistance
the 'Mech' Collection - Mech commander 2,4 and expansion for 4
and Star Trek Bridge Commander
Resistance is good but runs really slowly on my system even though I've 20 free gigs of memory.
Mech collection is good but you need to be into that kinda game, which I am fortunatly, howvere having said that I can't get Mech 4 to work which is a bit of downer.
ST Bridge Commander is another specialist game, if you don't like Star Trek then you'll hate this game and vice versa, if you like it you will.
Who would I most like to be, computer game stylee, toughie that one Messiah would be cool, being able to transport in and out of other peoples bodies, Godlike in Black and White however I can't get Lara out of my mind so Tombraiders star Lara Croft it is, or even Angelinue Jolie would be cool.(that may not b how 2 spell her name, sorry if your looking at this post M. Jolie)
Just to catch up on events I thought Little Hobbo had Hobbo'd off and wouldn't be back for a while, Damn, I must have been away for ages.
