OK, lets keep this going gamers. For beige box and country!!
Or something like that. :)
It's a software/hardware difference, basically the older the games the less chance you have of playing them on modernd hardware. This is just an assumption though, so I could be wrong.
People just weren't thinking when they came up with that.

Aha! found your week spot have we IB?
And on a gaming note was in PC GAmz 4U other day and purchased X-Wing Collectors Series (3 Games) for £14.99 along with Flying high (a 3CD Rom pack containing - Peace Maker
F22
Nations
Which was £9.99, but had sale on so got 1/2 off cheapest! All for £20. Bargain or what. My Joystick has never been so busy! Or so I thought. The X-Wing stuff works Ok but the others have problems. I've got F22 working and have been told that Nations will not work with my "New" Joystick. As for Peace maker????? Anybody got any Ideas? Answers on a postcard please!

I haven't had Spam for ages. Used to get it for school dinners covered in batter, does anybody remember that or am I just an ageing fossil? Otherwise it came in square tins that you had to open with a key attached to the bottom of the tin, attach it to a tag at the side and then wind the key round the tin! Oh what fun! If you were lucky you only gave your thumb a bad cut with the sharp edge of the tin,If you were unlucky you would slice the end off your willy! Happened to me all the time...and I've still got lots left!:-)
And what happened to PEK? Stewed in it's own juices! bit like me really but would you believe am sober tonight?
And Mr Ripper; I've never played Birth of the Federation, though I'm not really in to Star Trek games much, the only decent one I've played is Elite Force, but that's not much cop compared to other FPS out at the moment.
I did try a demo of Away Team once, and wasn't too impressed with it. It's a commandos type game, you can tell from the amount of things the game has copied from said title. It's got dull looking graphics, no real stratagy, and is just far too boring. Even though it's real time, it's still too slow.
