Yep that's right, there's been scores of these starting up, but all have failed. Let's make this thread a place for PC gamers to chat. Post anything you like in here, comments, reviews, but no spam please.

OK, lets keep this going gamers. For beige box and country!!
Or something like that. :)

I like going into game shops and finding budget games that I've always been interested in, but never really considered buying. Them being on a budget price is usually enough excuse for me to finally try them out.

Some examples have been, Theif 2, Project IGI and No One Lives Forever. All great games, that I would have gladly paid full price for.

I don't actually buy budget games that often.

I'm with you on this Cips! What with my Shopaholicness???? I never bother to look at the "Chart" but get into the Cheap section £10 for 3 or whatever. I must say tho' sometimes a "Chart" game comes up on Amazon for 1/2 price. I recently bought Empire Earth (£34.99 in the shops) for £14.99 + P&P, so I always keep a look out! Right now I think I have all the games I need to keep me busy for a while.... Famous last words, just wait 'til I'm next in 'PC Gamz R U or else!'

Right time for a game....

PC budget games are great, you can pick up about 4 of them for a full priced game, which is whta I love about the PC games market. There are also a few games I overlooked when they where orignally releseased, but they are on budget noiw so well worth a second look.

It's also tempting to wait, because games on the PC get on budget release so quickly, and they are much cheaper then console games. That's why I like my PC games to be completeable in a weekend.

I know what you mean, there are about 5 PC games I want now, but I don't have the time to play them all. Thew trouble is choosing which one I want to get now, and which I want to leave for a later date. Just too many good games out right now.

Before I realised, by accident, how to cure the problem I had contacted the games website and they were stumped so I thought I'd got a bum deal! Now am happy chappie! Also just bought Desert Storm which is looking good. Think I'm becoming a PC Game shop-a-holic though! Can't seem to walk into a Games shop without coming out with something these days! Which is nice.

Good to see the problem sorted then, obviously it wasn't down to the software's age, though the only reason I suggested that was because I've had a few problems with older games on my PC before.

Panic over Cip's me old chum! (Sorry for cockney speak but am in rehearsals for Rugby Club panto which is an adaptation of My Fair Lady!)
I've got all the games working. Problem appears to be when trying to play them in the DVD/CDRW combo. Switched to my CD-ROM and everything is OK.
For you info Peace Maker is a helicopter Sim and you get to blow things up so it's aptly named! Nations is a WW2 Sim flying all sorts of aircraft seems good but a little easier than Battle of Britain and at a cost of £3.33 who's complaining (apart from my Mrs!) Meanwhile my daughter is now becoming expert X-Wing Pilot so at least no more Harry Potter!
