Van Nistelrooy off to Real Madrid for £30M cos he is unhappy over playing up front on his own in big euro games....

ahem....

Juventus buying Stam so a Thuram transfer looks more likely...

Man City seem favs to get Anelka...

hmmmmmm

Oh, and apparently Roy Keane had a bust up over playing in Goal yesterday in a training session and pulled out of the World cup squad but later returned....although the truth may never come out...

Ireland without Roy Keane = Ireland going straight out of World Cup

Ireland don't have a great team anyway, he's the only real World-Class player they have. Duff and Robbie Keane are good, but they need a second good striker, and without Keane in midfield they'll get over-run. If he has been sent home then he's an idiot. Although at least he'll be nice and fit for the next season!

United after Rio? Hadn't heard that one, probably just paper talk. Would be nice though, although I am slightly concerned about the way that Fergie seems to be after a couple of centre-backs, I'd like to see him just get one, good experienced player, play him with Wes, and start to give O'Shea a few games.

He signed a new contract earlier in the season didn't he??
If he tries to run off now Fergie's not gunna let him go easy!

It's incidents like this that makeme realise how much I really hate Roy Keane!

But yes, he's World-Class on the pitch!

And as for the Ljungberg thing, it was all started with a very-tough chalenge from Mellberg in a light training game.

I reckon Freddie's feeling the pressure as he's being expected to play this Premiership season all over again for Sweden in the World Cup - like he's done with Arsenal.

Heh...Its all in that red hair of his :)

As for Keane...hmmm...is he losing the plot?

Okay, judging by his performances on the pitch he is a world class player but some of the stuff he has been coming out with is just not acceptable. Not just for Ireland but has also pointed alot of criticism Man Utds Way...

I'd like to see Rio come too, and I still believe we should've moved for him when/before Leeds did as £18m or so isn't a bad price for a player of his abillity or potential! Just think where we could've been now....

Oh well, he's got a younger brother coming up through the West Ham youth ranks! Hopefully Rio's tought him a thing or two! ;)

I can see the Stam-Juventus thing going through and yes, that COULD mean Thuram does come to Old Trafford. I can see him doing better there with Davids.

As for Keane, I heard about that but apparently he's ok now. And he's also announced he'll retire from International Football after this summer.

And despite what I may have thought before, I can actually see Anelka going to City now! Following in the footsteps of former greats like Weah and Wanchope.

I also heard on Sky Sports News that Ljungberg grabbed Mellberg by the throat or something, and Larsson broke them up! Interesting...

Probably more down to the money men at United making sure the wages dont go through the roof with two many players at the club...Although we probably lost more money by not winning anything...

Yeh Afro, both Ze Roberto and Ballack have moved to Bayern, with Effenberg leaving Bayern.

I doubt Fergie would let his main main - RVN leave. He's still a young player and it would cost silly amounts to replace him, therefore I think its just newspaper talk.

I heard an interview done with Peter Kenyon and he said United may wait till after the world cup in regards to buying someone, surely thy need it to do it sooner than that, so that the player can come to manchester straight after the world cup and 'blend' in with the team.

Fergie's also said the defence is the main area that he'd be looking at however he's been commenting a lot about Di Canio of late therefore maybe a striker could be drafted in again...

The thing I don't get is that, why does a team like Man U have to sell Dwight Yorke before they can buy Di Canio? - you look at Liverpool/Arsenal, if they want a player they will go out and buy them regardless of what players they have, just look at the goalkeeper situation at Liverpool, Westerweld messed up one season, Liverpool bout two keepers first then got rid of him...

Why can't we do that?
