Juventus buying Stam so a Thuram transfer looks more likely...
Man City seem favs to get Anelka...
hmmmmmm
Oh, and apparently Roy Keane had a bust up over playing in Goal yesterday in a training session and pulled out of the World cup squad but later returned....although the truth may never come out...

That Van Nistelrooy story was in the Daily Express though...
Van the Man off to Real? I blimming hope not. Real would walk every comp next season. Can you imagine: Zidane, Figo, Real and Van Nistelrooy! The only reason they had troubles until now is their defence and the fact that Morientes, although a good player, is not a world class striker like Raul, Owen, Ruud, etc.
As for City getting Anelka, they can have him for all I care. As in Lock Stock: He's a pain in the a*se, and no-one wants a pain in the a*se. Or something like that.
rejected thier latest contract...

it would be cool and it would be very effictive
That was a big rumour a few weeks back.
If he has then Bayern'll have one of the most dominant midfields in the world.
Sorry anyway.
I doubt Fergie would let his main main - RVN leave. He's still a young player and it would cost silly amounts to replace him, therefore I think its just newspaper talk.
I heard an interview done with Peter Kenyon and he said United may wait till after the world cup in regards to buying someone, surely thy need it to do it sooner than that, so that the player can come to manchester straight after the world cup and 'blend' in with the team.
Fergie's also said the defence is the main area that he'd be looking at however he's been commenting a lot about Di Canio of late therefore maybe a striker could be drafted in again...
The thing I don't get is that, why does a team like Man U have to sell Dwight Yorke before they can buy Di Canio? - you look at Liverpool/Arsenal, if they want a player they will go out and buy them regardless of what players they have, just look at the goalkeeper situation at Liverpool, Westerweld messed up one season, Liverpool bout two keepers first then got rid of him...
Why can't we do that?
