With al this talk of not being able to upload via ADSL connections and not having the monthly pay packages for dial-ups, I think you might want to consider a paid for service for hosting???
Simpy it would be a case of £5 a month or something for the standard unlimited Webspace/E-mail and all the stuff you have at present, but with the added bonus of not being restricted to your dial-up, and alowwing use with ADSL or monthly dial-up packages to take advantage of the great service you offer.
Also, you could consider highr packages, with MySQL and all, maybe even Pre-installed Scripts, Secure Servers, Sub-Domains, the ability to let other people have an E-mail address with our Domains, without giving them our master usernames/password etc..
... what do ya' think???
Maybe say £5 a month would allow us to simply have the service we currently use, just no restrictions on using Freeola Dial-ups?? I think that would improve your share in the hosting market .. as your service is one of the best, but with more people using ADSL already, and people using Dial-ups using Monthly tariffs, I don't see Freeola going to far down the line.
Also, just out of interest, is there a reason for wanting to set Web Space limits on ADSL/Paid for services when you offer unlimited for free?? What a I missing??? And does this mean you'd also no longer want to give unlimited E-mail Addresses??
That would seriously cut back the amount of media on site.
Mine had alot of screenshots and we have only just begun. I use Broadband, but would prefer the slowness of Dial-up if i thought the webspace would suffer!!!!!
I dont mind paying a little more every 2 years, but a £5 a month doesnt sound much but it soon mounts up!
