I find it quite odd that the popularity of this forum hasn't gone through the roof since the release of Gamecube. Oh well...
Seeing as this is meant to be the most popular launch title and I have it, I thought I'd start a thread about it.
I'm finding it really hard to get used to at the mo. I'm only on the 4th mission...the one where you've gotta take out the force field, using the crappest ship available (Y-wing). It's really hard to spot the Tie's in space, ya know.

Don't you find it extremely difficult to spot the tie fighters when you have those dog fights? The level where you protect those carriers was really difficult, good job you can order your fellow fliers to "Take out those Tie's!"

Dunno if anyone else has unlocked this, but has anyone played the bonus level "Escape from the Death Star" ? Its actually pretty addictive. :-)
If anyone wants a gold medal, get the "Asteroid Field" bonus level up. Go at full speed all the way to the end. You'll notice the Falcon fire backwards, so use this to take out TIE's when they are directly behind you using shorts bursts of shots rather than holding the button down.
You can also shoot asteroids to split them and they will collide with pursuing TIE's. Eventually you'll see a Stardestroyer, fly towards the back of it and you'll see a floating rebel sign - fly into it and thats the level done.
Hope this helps a few of you. ;-)

I really want to get Slave 1 - Boba Fett's ship, but to get you need silver medals on the 10 main missions which I don't see happening. Although some levels aren't too bad, levels like the last one, going through the Death Star's main reactor, are just ridiculously hard. The fact the brainless git you have to keep alive at the beginning just flys in a straight line begging to be killed really doesn't hep things.
Rogue Leader is an excellent game, just ashame that the AI of your allies is so crap. Kind of underlines the pointlessness of giving orders to your wingmen when they don't actually carry them out. Well, they might destroy one enemy ship or gun in a mission if your lucky.

I got rouge leader with thte gamecube :D (Joy)
And i have:
5 Bronze
4 Sliver
0 Gold
I've also completed the game :D
But i find MEGA hard to get Gold on any level.
Oh yea, I've unlocked the 1st bonus level...

Another thing about mission 5 thats worth considering. From what I noticed what you do to the Stardestroyer in mission 5, affects mission 6. If possible, take the time to destroy a few of the ships guns, especially the ones on the edge of the ship that fire those blue shots. If you do this they should still be destroyed when you play mission 6 making things a little easier. :-)
As for the bonus levels - does anyone know how you earn them ? I'm wondering if you do it by getting at least all bronze medals on the missions or if they are now unlocked by those points you seem to get when you recieve medals.
