I find it quite odd that the popularity of this forum hasn't gone through the roof since the release of Gamecube. Oh well...
Seeing as this is meant to be the most popular launch title and I have it, I thought I'd start a thread about it.

I'm finding it really hard to get used to at the mo. I'm only on the 4th mission...the one where you've gotta take out the force field, using the crappest ship available (Y-wing). It's really hard to spot the Tie's in space, ya know.

Ive got 5 silvers and 5 bronzes , but im having real problems even getting a bronze on Battle of Endor! Help! Wats happening?!

i got it today and i havent even got off of the first level! I dont care cos its absolutely wicked! i love seeing the explosions of the turrets and the fighters blowing up.

Really trying to get those silver medals so I can get Slave 1 as a selectable craft. ;-))

I'm on the Battle of Endor now, this level sooooooo rules. I've got 6 Silver and 2 Bronze, only a few points off unlocking the asteroid field level.

Bespins funning easy to complete now, I didn't realise you can blow up the gas tanks in the baloons I was going after the guns 1 by 1 which takes ages.

I can't seen to get any gold medals... I tried so hard... But i got so far.. But in the end it don't seen to matter that i keep getting slivers now :D

I haven't noticed any slowdown so far, but then again i'm the kinda person who played ISS 2000 on the N64 in High Res mode.

Off the top of my head I can tell you where 2 upgrades are. On Hoth, once the At-AT's destroy the shield generator, instead of racing off to the X-Wings, turn to where the shield generator was and the upgrade should be there.

Another one is on the Razor level when you attack the Stardestroyer. Fly at full speed and look at the sqauds of TIE fighters. Look to the right and you should see an Imperial Shuttle being escorted by a couple of TIE's. Fly after the shuttle and destroy it - this will give you another upgrade.

I hate to bring this up, but has anyone else noticed the slowdown in this game? At times, it can be on the brink of unnacceptable, especially on the aforementioned mission with the crashed star destroyer.
Sure, having the prettiest visuals of any launch game ever is a great selling point, but surely playability should come first? However, seeing as it's such a ruddy briliant game, I'll let the boys at Factor 5 off. :)

So far mines either the one where you have top go to the crashed Star Destroyer or Hoth. Infact they all rule itsept the one where you have to free the prisoners.
