I find it quite odd that the popularity of this forum hasn't gone through the roof since the release of Gamecube. Oh well...
Seeing as this is meant to be the most popular launch title and I have it, I thought I'd start a thread about it.
I'm finding it really hard to get used to at the mo. I'm only on the 4th mission...the one where you've gotta take out the force field, using the crappest ship available (Y-wing). It's really hard to spot the Tie's in space, ya know.

I'm on Mission 8 I think, it's Cloud City. This game funning rules, have you noticed that on some missions if you play them at different times of the day it's night time and dark and the sunsets and stuff, this game rules.
God knows how i'm gonna get golds on any of them missions, i've only gopt 2 silvers and those 2 took ages to get.
Anyone know where any of the tech upgrades are? I haven't found single one.

Im up to the.. 8th level I think? Where its all foggy and you gotta nick a TIE fighter, fun! But I can't even get my way through the mountains! But its a class game and I love it! I can't wait for SMB to arrive mind you, and its my Birthday tomorrow!
TOYS R US try to sell it as rouge leader. anyway, this game reveals it's goodies too quickly. i was on the last level after 4 hours.
still, battle over endor is the best level, although the escape from the death star is good too.
i don't think however that the y bomber missions are that good, except the one where you bomb the star destroyer. i ienjoy that. but the level where you have to help free the prisoners reminds me too much of kessel in the original (shudder)

Its weird - the GC seems to have sold extremely well here and in Europe and the rest of the world, but I cans till get one from HMV?!
My favourite level is a tie between Hoth and Endor. ;-) Escape from the Death Star (bonus mission) can get pretty addictive too.
Im up to razor rendezvous, but ive really just been playing monkey ball.
