the err PS2 doesn't really class as a first class games machine either mainly because third party developers can't easily make games for it, any game that is released for it can just be ported to GC or Xbox easily and Sony can't make games full stop.
It doesn't mean it's a bad console, just not first class!

How wrong you are.
If you had bothered to read one of the previous posts, you will see that all us playstation fanatics advised anyone buying the PS2 solely for it's DVD capability to think again. The PS2 should be viewed as a GAMES CONSOLE first and foremost, and the DVD capability is just an added bonus. At the end of the day i am buying it for it's games, which i believe to be the best. Wether or not they are the best in two days time, two weeks time or two months time makes no odds to me, this is my decision and not for others to influence.
You obviously have your own favourites, and are well within your rights to let others know about this, but do us all a favour and stick your comments in the right forum, instead of wandering around the others looking for an argument.
