Ooh! idiot-new word! Score!
It all comes down to the fact that Microsoft wasted half the console on "extras" as you put it. Don't you think Sony and Nintendo are perfectly capable of doing that, only they have gaming experience. Also your telling me to get my facts straight, what's 'bent' about them iam perfectly aware of the Ps2 capabilities thank you very much.

That's right, it's about games; something the X box does not have.

Yeah, Nintendo were thinking of that when they chucked out Luigi's Mansion weren't they - talk about bloody short and sweet. Rogue Leader frustratingly had you constantly defending things to the point of boredom and Monkey Ball - I couldn't even count the amount of times I was left swearing my head off at that as I tried to get a screaming poxy monkey over a guitar string. Sorry, but the GC titles I played weren't really my idea of fun.
For me and other X-Box owners, we enjoy our games on the X-Box and we have the added bonus of seeing the best graphics and hearing the best sound with it.

Yes it will be - it doesn't mean the PS2 is going to be able to pull off as good a version of the game as the X-Box though does it.
As for the games ratio, at the moment - yes. But then with a massive headstart, it should be. I'd be pretty worried if my console had been out for 2 years prior to the release of the X-Box a year ago (or 7 - 8 months over here) and had less decent games out.

A poor arguement at best. DVD's can be played on the PS2 as well, so don't just single out the X-Box for slating. Plus with the soundtracks from CD's, the idea is that you can use them in some of your favourite games which is really a good idea. Driving games in particular tend to be using chart music from here and the States, so as this grows tedious or old, you can simply put your own choices in instead.
Its not supposed to be the main selling point of the console, just a couple of extra features so you can do more with the console. X-Box is a game system, not a PC. PC's are more for serious work, playing games on them is just a bonus. Overall, they weren't designed with games in mind.
If you think the X-Box comes under this same thing, then you really are a muppet.
Also, Wookie, I'll send you a dvd if you wish (I've sent garbe one, im reliable son't you worry) its got lots of great game previews on it.
If you can't spot the difference between VHS and DVD there is probably something wrong with you.
3 of my friend acroos the road have a PS2, and I wouldn't buy one, nor If I had a time machine would I go back and get one before I got my xbox. I can see the difference. One of them wants to trade his Ps2 in to get an xbox, the other said tonight, that xbox is bit better. Brand recgonition has EVERTYING to do with this console war situation. People buy what they have heard of and know to be tried and tested, basicly the playstation brand. Xbox maketing has been bad so far and the games slow in ariving, take the future into account and xbox shines.
What I'm saying wookie is, looking back, there really wasn't a good reason to own a PS2 untill GT3 arrived. yet it still sold well with average games on the shelves, games which the DC put to shame at the time. IT STILL SOLD, it didn't deserve those sales if you know what I mean.

Thirdly Gameplay over Graphics... X-Box games are like models - great to look at but annoy you after 1/2 an hour

First of all, Splinter Cell is multi-format, and there are 2 brilliant games for every X box one.
