Yea it was a gamble but I thought as I still have my ps2 I will get a x0box because I like western games and with the gc cheap I will buy that if they become popular and so far I am well and truely happy with the x-box best console I have had in years. Even my dad plays it which is very rare

I think the Xbox is a greater machine, but i don't think its future looks all that bright. Few good games and few upcoming good games means the PS2 has the edge with superb games. I reckon the new FF games may deal the Xbox its biggest blow yet.

Personally, to buy an Xbox right now, i believe you'd have to be either very brave or extremely confident of its future. Nobody can deny that such a purchase would be a gamble.

Hahaha, the fact that you haven't seen one my many posts praising the Xbox, PLUS the fact that you think I'm the only one that thinks your a prat, suggests that you only read a fraction of what is in this forum.

I've praised the Xbox many times (off the top of my head look at the 'water effects' topic), so don't bother. I've also seen many people disagree with your biased 'I work for Sony' approach to the PS2, so you can shove that where the sun don't shine too mate.

Yep I agree with Nomad SEGA Great legends in Gaming and Come on Halo has combat evolved in it but it isn't a sequel Ok Project Gotham is updated MSR but at least they named it different and its amazing anyways We have buffy etc

I aint slating any console just dont judge consoles over each other They are all there for one reason to enjoy the games in general

All the ground-breaking titles were on the Dreamcast: MSR, Shenmue, Jet Set Radio, Rez, etc.

Oh dear...
Since when did arguing EVERY point I make with 'geek-speak' constitute a "Slating"? You've constantly belittled the Ps2 with your insolence without ever actually mentioning the Xbox's back catalogue of AAA titles!
For the benifit of the original poster, please name the 'groundbreaking' titles that accompany the Box. ps I'm not talking the weight of the console either. har di har

Thank us for what? Slating your posts? Groundbreaking means 'never been done before', 'original' and 'OMG I need that game'. Groundbreaking does not mean 'Let's see who can get to version 10 first'.

I don't really want to get into a debate about which system is the better/value for money because that's just childish, besides, we all know the answer to that one, do we not? The titles I referred to earlier are preceeded by numberes for a reason...They have Evolved(through time) into the groundbreaking titles that Sony has lavished upon it's loyal and discerning customers. I thank you again.
