my b/f wants the x-box for betta graphics but i think i prefere the ps2 cos of the games and looks of it.

I'm not too sure what an oxymoron is...nor do I care, but; MGS2, GTA3, GT3 and FFX constitutes Groundbreaking...I'm sure you'll be able to play these great titles on your Xbox, when Sony thinks the time is right#

I trust you've thrown out this question to all the relevant forums, so to avoid any confusion, I'll make it simple for you...If He's under 12 years of age, get him a GC. If he's a geeky-type who enjoys lining the pockets of a ruthless Multi-National Empire, get him an Xbox. If on the other hand he enjoys playing a wide variety of grounbreaking titles on a well esthablished brand-name, get hm a PS2. Good luck!

Of course it's true.

Sony's MASSIVELY over-hyped CPU can handle NOTHING like what they claimed. Compare that to a 733 Intel chip and what is essentially a Geforce 4, and you're going to see some pretty major differences.

thats true in some cases, especially the graphics, i'd never thought i'd say it but its true on some games.
