Which means it wouldn't even fit on a GC card. And it does leave space for other saves, as I detailed previously.

Most reviews of GC games should tell you, especially in the magazines.
I believe the following games take 3-5 blocks:
Luigi's Mansion
Rogue Leader
Sonic Adventure 2
Super Monkey Ball
I didn't look into any others though, just the games I'm hoping to get for launch.
As for N64 memory cards, I never used them anyway and avoided games without a cartrige save.
A GC memory card costs half the price of a PS2/Xbox card but saves 16 times less data, so I think you can sort of call it a rip-off, but IF the game saves are mostly compact enough for no more than 5 blocks and get you get ten games worth of data, you can certainly say you get your money's worth.
