I was going through the archive earlier and came across Turbo’s Web Design Pledge. Although I can vaguely remember this when it happened, I thought nothing of it, but upon reading it again, something really caught my eye.

“However, the forum is just being "used". Where as forums like the FOG are ever-popular, with people visiting regularly and generally having fun, the Web Design forum is merely being "used" for question and such like. Well, no longer! I want to turn this forum into a proper community.”

He is right here, this forum is only really used by people wanting questions answered, but I think that this forum is probably the best on the site. Mainly because nearly everyone in here knows what they are talking about. But I don’t like how the forum is used just for questions.

So here is what I propose, we use this thread for general chat. Not just web design, anything at all. Since not many people pass through this forum anymore, it won’t get spammed up too much, it’ll just be a place where people can go to be themselves.

If it doesn’t work, then fine. I just think this thread will be able to make this forum more of a community.

So… what’s up everyone? :0)

only just noticed this, Lukcily?
broken bones hurt, quite annoying that.
i've been 'lucky' enough to have only had both my big toes broken (not by the mob) fell down some stairs, bit stoopid, and the nails fell off, yummy.

College is a joke, shame they're so relaxed, after two years working there I've become envious of people sitting behind desks.

Heh. There's nothing better than walking around aimlessly in the Sun with a few mates. Especially when there are a few birds on the same treck ;-).

I guess a big lad landing feet first on your ribs would probably brake one of them. The closest I've come to braking anything is when I tried to hop over a tennis net (I know, I'm an idiot :D). Got my foot tangled and came crashing down, wrist first. Had to go to A+E, but I luckily, I had only sprained it.

I've got the same problem with my coursework. None of the teachers are serious about the deadlines, so I've got no motivation to finish it.

www.globalwallpapers.tk - Havn't been able to do anything on it because my old host was crap. Changed now and everything is going fine with it :).

Thanks mate.

It's been nice and sunny down here for a copule of weeks, so I've been out and about, who'd have thought women could call something that short a 'skirt', lol. Not that I'm complaining ... one of my many reasons for wanting hot days all the time :o)

I think my rib broke when a mate of mine landed on me feet first ... and he's a pretty big lad ... ouch. Don't ask why he landed one me, lol just know it hurts.

Problem with college is that it's coursework in on time or fail ... well, the HND is, the BTEC was a p*ss take really, "Hand in date is 25th Jan 200 but middle of May at the latest .... ok June BUT THATS IT" it was a joke.

So whats this Web site your working on???

I'm sorry to hear about your Nan mate.

How did you brake your ribs? I've got a proud record of never braking a bone in my body. Not sure why though, I'm a right calamity.

I'm not doing too bad, got school tomorrow though. I should be greeted with a few angry teachers asking where my coursework is. I should be able to avoid them for a bit though.

I probably should of done some coursework over the holidays but I've put all my free time into doing my site. It's coming along quite nicely now :).
