Hmmm, no, trailed the net, found nothing of real interest.

Have you considered the possibility that Activision may have bought a percentage of Rare, or perhaps that they're in a deal for publishing?

It would make a lot more sense. Activision to simply buy out Rare would seem... impossible, almost. :0D

I'm not too keen on Rare games anyway, Donkey Kong 64 scored higher than goldeneye, mario 64 and Zelda in the official N64 magazine but to me it's pants!!! Perfect dark's decent but i still prefer Red Faction and Timesplitters so even if Rare do go multi format I'm won't be too bothered.

If Nintendo do own 25%, then maybe Activitions bought shares from other stockholders?... 26% say, just to get a controlling interest?

Ah, but if he's an ex-employee then will they still be updating him with things about the company?

How long ago was it when he worked for them?

Would Activision allow Rare to have as many delays as they currently do, or would they encourage them to get the games out on time, and not keep adding to it, as Rare like to do?

That could seriously hamper the quality of the games.

I don't think that Activision will take over Rare, simply because it would cost too much.

As someone said a little down the list, Ninty fund Rare and it would take a large amount of money to get Rare out of Ninty's grasp, so I don't really feel that it'll happen.

i could be wrong, mind you....
