There is a severe lack of decent looking games still to be released. Short of FFX and The Getaway is there any AAA titles in development which I should be scratching myself in frustration over??

I wasn't actually saying anything bad about the PS2 in the first place mind! I was just saying that if you think the PS2's game idea's are drying up, then maybe the PS2 wasn't the right console for you.(to the original poster) I didn't say "Get GameCube or Xbox cos they're better" or anything like that!

I said good games not the ones you like!

But surely a game isn't good if you don't like it?

Only your opinion! I could say half those 20 games you listed are naff and you'd most definately disagree!

A good game can only be defined by yourself. If you like the game, it's good. If you don't like the game, then it's no good at all. But it depends on the individual!

I agree up to a point but again it comes down to personal oppinions, MGS2 was disliked by a FEW people but it is clearly one of the best games ever and it was not rubbish!

but lets face it the games i listed will be enjoyed by a lot of people unlike some of yours which you think are good.

A game can seem rubbish to an individual though! I ain't played MGS2 so I can't give an opinion, as I'm sure is the same with you and many of the games on my list.

Please feel free to list all the games I mentioned and say with either "good" or "naff" after each one of them, if you liked them or not. If you've never played them then say "never played" and we'll see if you're right about half of them being naff.

Having never got into the Final fantasy games much i think i will give FFX a try, and see how i like it, you never know, i might buy some of the previous versions! VF4 looks class too, a must have for me!!
