OK OK.... don't know if yo have noticed it but the PSX is one of the worst computers for build quality.
It may clearly be the BEST EVER for quality of games, but there is no point in all the games if the thing don't work.
From day 1 Sony have had to make constant changes to there little bundle of joy.
EVERY ONE i know with a playstation has had a least one problem with it. The common one being a piece of plastice flying off the middle.
By PSX does all of this, over heat, crash, bits of plastic braking off, works slow, can't read CD probley, etc. But the worst thing is i have NEVER cause any damage to the playstation or CDs. The only reason for these problems is cheap components.
Oh and guess what... I phoned up sony and they wanted £40 and my working (just) playstation for a recondintioned one, CHEEK, i could by a brand new one for £70 in specail reserve.
ANY WAY...all i really want is for sony to use better quality parts in the PSX2 'cause i am tired with th PSX being so cheap....

Most people who watch cartoon network will know what dragonball Z is. For those who don't know, Dragonball Z is about this person called Goku, a Saiyan from the planet Vegeta. Even though he was sent to the planet earth when he was a child to destroy it, he got whacked over the head and turned it a peaceful person with unimagingable power. He protects the earth from other saiyans and turns out to be a all mighty powerful "Super Saiyan!!!!"

The thing which you are looking for is unattainable there are basically very few truly original games most are based on previous games going as far back as the spectrum and C64, yes they look nicer and they run faster scroll smoother etc etc. This refreshing change cannot happen. Game programmers know what sells and although original games 'might' sell well it's a hell of a gamble.

OK so the Playstation maybe doesn't have as wide a selection of games and is much slower and the graphics aren't as good... but most normal people don't mind that if it saves them money.

PSX has some classics (Metal gear solid, tekken 3, time crisis etc.) but they are not a scratch on there Sega and nintendo counterparts. PD beats Medal of honour hands down and Mario, Sonic adventure and DK64 leave Crash Bandicoot lying in a shop door and begging for pennies to buy themselvs a licence to pick out of quick save's dustbin. Throw in your playstation so that crash may stand a chance of survival.
right, all this ps 2 stuff is driving me up the wall.
£300 for a console £400 for a decent bundle on a realease, inferior dvd, im not paying for that.
also this system aint gonna last long, as stated by many developers, the ps-2 is the hardest home console to program for, and with many systems we arnt going to see its true colours until the end of the system, nov 25 2000
