OK OK.... don't know if yo have noticed it but the PSX is one of the worst computers for build quality.

It may clearly be the BEST EVER for quality of games, but there is no point in all the games if the thing don't work.

From day 1 Sony have had to make constant changes to there little bundle of joy.

EVERY ONE i know with a playstation has had a least one problem with it. The common one being a piece of plastice flying off the middle.

By PSX does all of this, over heat, crash, bits of plastic braking off, works slow, can't read CD probley, etc. But the worst thing is i have NEVER cause any damage to the playstation or CDs. The only reason for these problems is cheap components.

Oh and guess what... I phoned up sony and they wanted £40 and my working (just) playstation for a recondintioned one, CHEEK, i could by a brand new one for £70 in specail reserve.

ANY WAY...all i really want is for sony to use better quality parts in the PSX2 'cause i am tired with th PSX being so cheap....

Let there be no doubt. The roar of perfect dark so much as clearing its throat will stun into an embarassed silence all you whinging playstation lovers. The N64 has always been vastly superior to the playstation. The games are rugged and involving, compared to the cheap and tacky psx with their trademark pixelated graphics. I have never seen an N64 crash but seen a huge number of glairing problems with the psx. It never was state of the art and the N64 simply blows it out of the water - I would advise playing perfect dark in hi res before replying. Just look at what perfect dark offers: True cooperative 2 player action,
12 player multi action using cpu controlled bots, counter operative modes and over 40 weapons. Challenges against the cpu will offer limitless replay value and it will take an unbelievably long time to exhaust all that PD has to offer. I am not just saying this as a die hard N64 fan - it truly is a masterpiece of a game and one that deserves ultimate recognition. It simply can't be beat for multiplayer action with friends.
Oh, and another thing. I am the proud owner of a sega saturn which is vastly superior to the psx. The graphics are smoother and sharper and the gameplay infinitely superior. It was always superior in every way, but sadly a tortured work of genius. Just look at VF2. Nuff said.

Come on you S**theads outther yep, U ant and Yes you too Arty - if you're even in that class. You all Think that Sony will deliver the finest piece of consoling hardware and software around don't you? WELL LET'S have a little look at the PS2 FACTS. It WILL cost £299 - None of you'll pAY that sort of cash. 2 the PS2 is HARDER to program for than the SATURN - remember how good that COULD have been - Sega made some top notch titles for it but found it HELL to program for, and so all other DEvDudes and Publishers p!ssed off to Sony. Now Sony's Machine is just TOO DAMN hard to make games for. At E3 everyone was absolutely astonished at how impressive MGS2 looked and Rightly so, but they were disheartened by how good it looked as it took Sony months on end to make it LOOK good, it won't even be out next year! And so all the little publishers EASPORTS in particular cried with emotion (HA?! the EMOTION ENGINE! what a load of S**t!!!!) as they can't match it. so, soon EA sports will be no MORE and all the Developers will rush back to Sega's beauty as the DC is just so easy to program for.
Also the PS2's DVD function. mmmmmmm it looks \Crap lads, the DVd player is flawed no end and when you use it it drains the PS2s memory and so Sony have had to make a hard drive to cope. 4 The games. The games are also SH!T with sequels being the only games out, Another Originality problem.
5. The PS2 is a piece of SH!T that'll be wrapped up in pretty colours to attract the stupid people who like pretty colours. FACE the facts. THE PS2 STINKS, and at double the price of Dreamcast, it seems sony and Sega are about to switch success. MMMMmmmm PS2 nout but a SATURN REMIX!!!!!!!!

THE GAME

Yes I admit it. Arty and Ant and Boss. You are all right about everything and I'm sorry to have inconvinienced you with my opinions. I guess I just think that the Dreamcast is good value for money at only £99, that the games are hugely better and crisper looking than the PS2s, and that the PS2 has old PLaystation updates as their main games. But hey, if Sega aren't going to advertise the truly amazing games that the DC has already then fine, I'll just have to tell people to buy Dreamcasts - I truly beleive it is a great machine and amazing value, If Sega don't sell enough DCs then all the money that I've invested into games , well, will be for nothing. If EA Sports loves Sony then so be it. I mean who really wants Fifa 2001, 2001.5, Fifa Christmas edition, Fifa Olympics and Euro 2000. EA started well, but got worse, and worse. Uefa striker on DC is higely more realistic and fun, but if everyone wants to stay on the Sony bandwagon then thats fine by me. I mean you're the ones losing out. You'll be playing games on the PS2 that aren't good, but you'll pretend there good because SONY tells you they are. It has to be said that sega, and to their credit, Nintendo are the only companies that know how to make good games.If you just support the Dreamcast then maybe you'll start enjoying the games you play because Sega knows how to make good games. Nuff said.
