OK OK.... don't know if yo have noticed it but the PSX is one of the worst computers for build quality.

It may clearly be the BEST EVER for quality of games, but there is no point in all the games if the thing don't work.

From day 1 Sony have had to make constant changes to there little bundle of joy.

EVERY ONE i know with a playstation has had a least one problem with it. The common one being a piece of plastice flying off the middle.

By PSX does all of this, over heat, crash, bits of plastic braking off, works slow, can't read CD probley, etc. But the worst thing is i have NEVER cause any damage to the playstation or CDs. The only reason for these problems is cheap components.

Oh and guess what... I phoned up sony and they wanted £40 and my working (just) playstation for a recondintioned one, CHEEK, i could by a brand new one for £70 in specail reserve.

ANY WAY...all i really want is for sony to use better quality parts in the PSX2 'cause i am tired with th PSX being so cheap....

It may be a great name for the Fony Greystation but you might be offending Puny Gay's. At least no-one can be described as Fony-Grey can they. Some of your relatives might be Gay, You never know do you?

I have used a psx loads and find these endless sequals tiresome - fifa 98, 99, 2000 all of which seem identical. The ps2 is long overdue, for developers have been left with an obsolete bit of hardware with which to dominate the games market. And another topic of general debate - All next generation consoles are so unbelievably powerfull they are exceeding the wildest imaginations of developers. If the x box is indeed to push 100m polys a sec how could this power ever be used? I doubt we'll be able to tell much difference between dolphin, X box and ps2.

Metal gear solid 2 (ridiculous name) is terrifying programmers the world over cos it has taken months to hammer it into a presentable form. It simply isn't true that developers are queing up for ps2 - X box will blow it the hell out of the water. You only have to look at the stats. And my tech figures are 100% accurate, and relevant. The ps2 is fatally flawed in a number of ways, and you would be a fool to buy one berfore X box comes out.
And another thing - perfect dark is in an 8 week demand over here. It will dessimate the charts for weeks to come and simply is the best multiplayer game ever. So, ARTY if you'd care to argue rationally without uncalled for slagging then please reply. You're whining is disturbingly American in nature.

If you haven't heard about the new playstation one here is the lowdown. Sony have released a new playstation called 'PLAYSTATION ONE' which is basically a normal playstation but a third of the size so it's as wide as a playstation controller. This to me is a waste of time as the playstation 2 isn't even released so people will wait for that and SONY should of used their time to speed up the playstation 2's release not making a crappy little thing which noone want's.
