I really want to get an email back saying i've been successful. I thought that the testing took place from 30th October, so arent they leaving it a bit late asking people now? I wonder if they may send the stuff out to people very soon? MS have my address so they may just pick a few people and send it to them.

Yeah probably. I chose the ICS option. Wonder when MS will actually get back to people about whether there a Beta Tester?

Yeah, but how long do we have to wait for Halo 2 to come out?

It'll be one prescription per Xbox.
Perhaps a gamer tag will allow sub-accounts or something.
I wonder when MS will release their full details?
I know that you have a cable in the way, but it takes a minute to set up and plus you get to have your PC on, which you could use to talk to people on here, or if one of your family members wanted to surf the net, they could.
The thing that may worry me is configuring my Firewall to allow XBox live to connect to my XBox. I have a bought firewall(Norton) and dont use the XP firewall as it can block off IRC which I use alot. But I would'nt be using much else if playing XBox online so I could disable Norton and then enable the XP Firewall, as I am sure MS would have support for it.

If you get a router you can just plug your Xbox in to it, and then plug the router in the ADSL socket and your Xbox will work with Live and no need for the PC. There should be a cheaper way though, BT may have something waiting for us. Maybe.
