"Xbox live: just for the selected?"

I remember reading that if you had broadband you could get the starter kit from xbox.com from the end of this month. However today I got an email from them and it said to qualify for Xbox live you have to full in a questionnaire and then depending on the results it said a few would be chosen to try the service before its official launch. Are they just saying that and we will be able to buy the starter kit from them or do you really have to be chosen?

MechAsssult is meant to be better than expected, at least according to teamxbox and xbox365.com.

Mite wanna look into that.

Should have thought so. They would send Whacked! and Moto GP. But don't forget that they arent the proper games. MS are saying "hey were giving you 2 FREE games" wrong there demos. Moto GP has something like 3 playable tracks, not sure what Whacked! has. So really there only going to last you a few hours depending on whether you like the game. Moto GP isn't really my type of game. Yeah I like racing games, but not Bike games. Found it a bit annoying to control when I played the Single player demo. Whacked! is like Fusion Frenzy, but online. May be ok for a bit, just depends on what options you get.

I suppose there not going to give you full versions of the games. I think that they should include a few more demos, as these 2 aren't going to last a few days for most people. Good job UC is out soon, a decent online game to play.

Oh ok. My brain is too over worked today, getting thicker and slower at thinking. Think I need some sleep, as I need to do some Oracle work tommorow, and maybe some of my Network assignment, oh and look at some of my Java programs so I can prepare myself for a Java test on Thursday. Isn't it great being at Uni.

dont we get moto gp if your a beta tester???

I know that in the American testing they had NFL Fever 2003 as a pre-release beta version, as well as the 2 free games. I hope that we can have a version of Unreal Championship, as then even Vice City would have to probably take the back sit to me playing UC online.

I really hope MS select the people quick and get the stuff sent out. If I am not a tester I am going to order XBox live so I can get it for November 30th if they are still going to do that.
