DW gave me the idea for this thread so blame him if it drops faster than Goatboy's pants on a night out to the local manlove bar.

Anyways.

What did you do for work experiance?

Me? I spent five days in a florists.
Hell yeah.

I filled buckets for a week.
Oh yeah I made a bouquet too. Sold it for £18.99 too. I was well proud.
Got to deliver some flowers to a morgue too. Didn't get to see a dead body though:(
Saw the table they gut them on though!
All in all. It "licked balls"

*Counts on her fingers*....
Good lord that was like five years ago!
Oh I feel old.

So what did you do?

Worked in a supermarket, stupid isn't it. All the decent jobs you could choose where taken, and the ones I did chose decided 'not' to take on any work experience school students at the last minute, so I was left with working a stupid, crappy supermarket.

It was OK though, one of my friends was also there, in the same situation, and we had a laugh. I'm sure we where the only ones working there at times, it seemed like all the other staff sodded off to leave us to run the whole bloody shop, well it free work for them so they obviously took advantage of that.

It did teach me one important skill though, like 'never work in a supermarket, ever, even if you need the money'. In fact, I've decided never to work in a job where you have to serve members of the public, because members of the public can be soooo stupid ;)

I did two weeks in a junior school where my mum works.

Was very useful, I learnt that being a teacher is the job from hell and at some times akin to being a riot officer. Except riot police get paid better and don't have to do work when they get home, and they get to fire tear gas and stuff...

I like my part time job I have now, I get paid £4.58 for doing very little ! Plus I get 20% off useful things, like consoles :)
