Don't forget that the NGC team being able to finish Starfox Adventures in 30 hours isn't THAT big a deal and certainly not something to get worked up about. Remember that these people play games for a living, so they're naturally going to be more skilled than most other people; completing games quicker. So for me, a game that NGC magazine staff could complete in 30 hours would probably last at least 60 and maybe even 70 hours.

Ok let me put it another way.

From reading the reviews it sounds like the few little bugs is tricky going through the trees and stuff, ive seen much worse in games and still enjoyed it.
Also it sounds a lot like zelda, with combat system and stuff...i loved zelda, im sure most people did so thats already a big scoring point for the game.
The voices, who cares what they are like, the scotish one sounds like it would make my laugh, not get annoyed with it.
And the graphics, sure its not everything but you have to admit they could mean something as im sure games wouldnt be as enjoyable to play if they had bad graphics. And companies will see what graphics should be.
The bad thing i heard was the length, well to some people 20-30 hours is long already, plus im one of those people who takes ages over things and check everything cause im annoyed when you get to far to be told that you have to go back and get a key or something so it would boost the time up to around 50 hours for me, that will last me for months.

Are you insane? You can't push up a games score by 11% just because it has pretty graphics!

74%? A bit of predjudice in that mark I suspect - hopefully not anyway because if it takes RARE 5 years to make ONLY a good game, then imagine how long a great game would take the tiny twycross people.

What is on the front cover of this marvelous months issue?

I've been looking forward to Starfox Adventures since it was surpose to be coming out on the N64! And now it's out and it's nothing to shout about. I'm quite disappointed! And disappointed with Rare! Who are infact coming to the career fair at our uni on.... FRIDAY! I'll be down there making myself known!

74% is a little low, sure long games are good but i think it deserves at least 85% for pushing the bar up of graphical performance.
Thats not shallow its true, 85% looks about right to me, also if its so bad why it selling so well in USA and japan.

Oh and my issue looks like its been chewed by a dog.

I knew starfox adventures wouldnt be all it was hyped for. But animal crossing looks amazing.
