Gentlemen, start your drooling!
I mean - they have reviewed the game and you can't do a review of something that you havn't seen - can you ?
( Cynic - Moi ? )
Dumb.

Yes it does! you just stop by a wall, and he leans on it and recovers health. A bit unusual after having been shot several times, I admit, and probably the most unrealistic aspect of the game... but it does work!
I liked the driving element immensely, by the bits on foot aren't all that special.
Just played the demo on the OPS2M coverdisc, and loved it!
The draw-distance is immense, with no noticeable popup - London looks fantastic - the cars are all fully licensed - and the speed remains realistically high.
Much more realistic than GTA. Car handling is great, sounds are fantastic. Damage to vehicles actually affects handling, and if you keep tearing along after the engine's damaged, it will slow down, and eventually sieze up on you.
No health bars or meters - watch Hammond's (your character) movement and stature; no map - watch your vehicle's indicators... this is actually a great way of doing things, as the indicators give you plenty of notification of when and where to turn.
Negatives? Well, the camera can be a bit iffy when you're on foot, but once you get used to its behaviour, you can cope with it quite easily. It's undoubtedly more linear than GTA, but certainly no less fun.
There's obviously a lot of work been put into this game, and despite early reservations, they've pulled it off BIG TIME! The review gives it 9/10 - lower than Vice City, but that's reasonable... less to do, fewer missions etc., but it's still a top, top game.
I hope it's a big success for Sony - it deserves to be, because not only have they put a lot of time and effort into it, but they've actually produced a damn fine game at the end of it.
All through the year I've had loads of money, but no games I want. So I've been buying DVDs instead of games.
And now, all the good games come out - and I can't afford them! Not only would I have to pay all the money for the games, but because it's christmas I have to buy presents too. Meaning the only game I can afford has been GTA VC.
Just bloody typical.
does anyone know where i can watch a video of game footage??? :)
