Ok, the word spam is probably popping up in a few minds reading this, but Phantom Crash is a great game, so I thought I'd make this topic to chat about progress in the game and stuff (believe me, it is THAT addictive). I know Gamezfreak has claimed it so I at least have 1 person to chat with over this game once he gets it. ;-)
So far I've bought myself a Ventuno mech and I have 2 Animal chips - 2 wolves, one I've named Fang, the other - Silver. :-)
I want to get round to building my own mech soon, but I can't help but spend my money on crap ! ;-)) Bought a couple of music tracks, paint jobs to use, etc.
Thing is, these things can be in a shop one day and gone the next, so I see these little bits and pieces and quickly grab them. ;-)
Anyway, back to the rumbling ! ;-)

Well I've fought my way through all the D class matches and I think I have 1 left to do in C class. After this I'll probably take it easy for awhile and work on a new mech and finish upgrading my chip.
My Beagle is now level 55. I'm hoping to get him close to level 80 tonight. :-)

Been rumbling in a few Class D matchs. Gaining loads of cash.
I have just recently purchased a "laser cannon" for my Mech, and boy its heavy, i'm erm 2kg overweight at the moment and i'm desparatly trying to shed that off in tuning.
The laser cannon rocks though, it can take out an enemy with one direct beam, and there is unlimited ammo.
Still my AI chip is chugging along at level 8, whats yours leveled at Sav?

As for earning wad, me and the Beagle went into Tokyo Bay and kicked major plums. Got close to 60 kills and earned 429,280 NY in the process.
The only reason we had to leave then was cause our ammo was totally spent with not even a bullet left.
So after that, I treated my chip to a shed load of upgrading and we sat back in the garage and cracked open the cigars. ;-)

The online/trading idea would be really good. Today I just went in for a quick rumble and I gained 30 "shootdowns" giving me a nice wad of 140,0000NY. I'm in a happy mood now, i'm rolling in it!

The online/trading idea would be really good. Today I just went in for a quick rumble and I gained 30 "shootdowns" giving me a nice wad of 140,0000NY. I'm in a happy mood now, i'm rolling in it!
Hmmm, this game seemed tempting after reading the review, but if it's as good as you lot keep saying, I may have to buy it at some point...
I think if the booster disk comes out to make this game an online title, it will sell extremely well. I'd go as far as to say it would probably become one of the most popular games to play on X-Box Live as it would be more than just a case of taking a mech your given and fighting other people - you'd be entering arenas with a mech you've worked hard on to upgrade and stuff and you'd be facing many different styles with people prefering various mech parts as well as their preferances between speed and power.
I think an online shop like I mentioned before would also be very popular with players eager to purchase new parts and weapons. Maybe players could even be given the opportunity to trade/give/sell parts to other players as well. :-)

Woah sounds like you have one kick mech. I'll list all my parts later.
I'm spending most of my money on body upgrades, making it lighter to allow my mech to jump/run a little bit higher and faster. I might soon get an extra "side" mech which is a little bit heavier but more powerful.
Still my wolf chip is still on level 2, I don't have enought money to upgrade. I think I have a class D rumble on the day im on, which i'll stay in to make lots and lots of money.
The sad thing about this game is the fact that its been released in the middle of other monster releases, it get more noticed if it was released earlier/later.
