Or as it is otherwise known - The MLB Thread

So Yankees, as always busy around deadline day and were quite successful. Abreu and Lidle for a bunch of minor league prospects of which only Smith looks half decent. Don't know too much about Lidle to be honest but Abreu will give another strong bat and some experienced coverage for Sheffield while he's out injured (and more than likely replace him for next season) Also picked up Craig Wilson for Chacon to give us another strong bat. Had him in my MVP Baseball 2005 team as well actually. Might mean Andy Phillips doesn't get as much time as he should though which is a shame.

Red Sox and Jays did nothing and we kept hold of Cano, Melky and Phillips so a good trade deadline time all around for the Yanks

I'm watching the Yankees V Red Sox on NASN. Cano with a home run to centre field at Fenway.

Heh, that was a bizarre one. To be honest, it looked like he didn't have it at all and then when the call came, he looked around to see the fielder.

hehe cheeky A-Rod causing the Toronto guy to fluff up a routine pop up. But then again even if the guy did think A-Rod said "Mine" and left it surely he should know what his team mates actually sound like.

Pettitte must have been having flashbacks to Houston where he puts in a good pitching performance and still loses due to lack of run support

I was watching San Fran play the Mets last night. 2-2 after 9 innings, San Fran take a 3-2 lead without getting a hit and then Benitez, the closer, balks twice to bring Reyes home for 3-3. A home run sealed the victory for the Mets.

During the game, they showed clips of the Yankees V Blue Jays. 1-1 bottom of the 7th and the Blue Jays steal home!

A word of warning: If you do win money, take it out immediately. You get the money when the tournament finishes. When it does, click cashier, click withdraw and withdraw. When the window opens, close the software and then sign in.

I've found that if you have money in your account, they take a few cents every time you open the software.

I do like the percentages showing up on the All-In stuff though, that's pretty cool

Yeah, they go up every 5 minutes. The break is after 55 minutes play and the blinds at that point are 600/1200. The money places are usually decided about 10 minutes after the break and the tournament is usually over in around 2 hours.

Jeez those blinds sure go up fast, tried to steal the blinds on the button and the big blind called 700 of his 1105 with a Ace 5 and he flopped a set on the flop. Bast.

Though it does seem if you can double up twice then you should be fine to just keep folding and get into the money. Shall be giving it a good shot on my 2 week break
