October:- 2 games thrown in for free the incredible Jet Set Radio: Future and SEGA GT 2002
November:- 2 games added for a mere £40 onto the price, two of the X-box's best games Halo and Splinter Cell, and thats including JSRF and SEGA GT 2002.
December:- ?
Come on isn't this a bit overboard now?

Ahhh doesn't Dringo love these anonymous stats from made up land ? here have a console from a company that could find europe on the map...

Hmm....anonymous friend, anonymous paper, anonymous phone....

That's how I'm planning to get a Dreamcast. Seriously.

What are the real figures then?
I posted those figures on Xboxrules.com
The UK figures I got from C&VG.com, a multiformat website, so why would they lie?
The Japanese figures I got from a Japanese website called Media Create (www.m-create.com), who monitor the games industry and have no interest in "adjusting" figures what so ever.
Also, I think its Toys R Us that are doing this - a GC with 10 games for £250. Hmmmmmmmm, whose desperate ? ;-)
Obviously its not Nintendo that are doing these deals directly, but seeing as that little detail is left off of the new X-Box pack with 4 games, don't see why it has to be here either. ;-)
Free with a mobile phone though - seems the cornflakes joke has practically backfired. ;-) I'll have to keep an eye on the SR Reddie gifts section. ;-)
Anyway, enough of this cack. ;-)

What about when the PS2 goes online in Spring? I'm sure it'll have the same downloadable missions etc, as it would be a shame to use them only for one third of the market.

It's not? Stop press!

Thats not correct. The real statistics are very different, because everywhere you see the sales chart you see different figures.
UK:
PlayStation 2 sold 66,567
Xbox sold 15,060
Gamecube sold 7,915
Japan:
PlayStation 2: 29,300
GameCube: 15,800
Xbox: 1,300
Not that proves anything. Just decided to post it anyway ;-)
In America the X-box is selling about 2,000 extra consoles a week more often than not 3,000. In Europe the X-box is selling just under 1,000 more than Gamecube a week. In Japan the Gamecube is selling 35,000 more consoles than the X-box... now you do maths.

And what great source has this come from ? www.makeupyourownstats.com ? :P

Or at least it counts if your company, like Sony and Nintendo is Japanese....and oh look, Microsoft are American...where things are going quite well. Splinter Cell is only one place behind Metroid Prime, which is at #3.

Crap. A hardcore gamer, if there is such a thing, would be getting, or most probably be on, Xbox Live, and enjoying the damn good games there is right now.

Snipe ? Wit hsuch comments as these we really should be sending cruise missiles back....or maybe Hellfires, tehy're quite popular at the moment...:)
