The official Xbox Magazine is out on 28th Febrauary with 4 playable demos and 10 video trailers, hurrah !

At least it would be if the makers, Future Publishing, didnt live in an alternative universe to the rest of us. Why ? "Try Before You Buy" claims the magazine about its Game demos. Problem - I doubt any of us will buy this then dash home to try out the demo's on our non existent Xboxes. Second problem - many of us have already worn out the local demo pods and know pretty well what we're going to buy anyway.

Still, at least we've got an official mag with demos, which wil be better once the consoles actually out !

Can the video trailers be played on a normal DVD player, or is it like the PS2 demo discs that come with the Offical magazine?

Awwwwwwwwwwww, my WH Smiths didn't have the mag in today. :-(

Oh well, I'll look tomorrow. ;-) Seeing as XBM has been mentioned, is it me or does the guy doing the description on each game on the first video just really get up the nose of everyone else here ?

The woman on that first vid was acting as though it was my privalege rather than theirs that I bought the mag too.

Taz Wanted

Features:

Reviews:
Halo - 9.7
Rallisport Challenge - 8.5
Project Gotham Racing - 8.9

The mag is pretty funny (considerably more than that joke pof a magazine XBM) and I generally recommend it to any gamer - not just X-Box freaks.

Keep it real,
Outlaw.
