The official Xbox Magazine is out on 28th Febrauary with 4 playable demos and 10 video trailers, hurrah !
At least it would be if the makers, Future Publishing, didnt live in an alternative universe to the rest of us. Why ? "Try Before You Buy" claims the magazine about its Game demos. Problem - I doubt any of us will buy this then dash home to try out the demo's on our non existent Xboxes. Second problem - many of us have already worn out the local demo pods and know pretty well what we're going to buy anyway.
Still, at least we've got an official mag with demos, which wil be better once the consoles actually out !

Pretty good mag, plenty to read. ;-) Bit sick that I've gotta wait a couple weeks still before I can look through the demo though. ;-))

Hooray ! Game in Nottingham has it in at last :) The demo disc is faulty though, it onw't play on my PC ! D*mn you Microsoft :) lol
Keep it real indeed, since Southampton is THE place to be if you're a games player and don't like big cities like London. 3 EBs all within about a minutes walk of each other, 1 Game, 1 CEX and then all the usuals like HMV and Virgin. Plus, all the mags are in shops about a week in advance. I like it here. What would make it perfect??? A SR shop, of course...

Same here, no where in town has it ! D*mn :(
I went into Town and none of the shops had the magazine in. Hopefully when I go up on Thursday they will have it in then.
I put the demo disc in my PS2 and this screen came up - in black and white - saying "please insert the disc into your X-Box gaming machine". So heh!!

I didnt think so. As with mags like PSW they dont have any playable demos so its just a DVD video. But the Offical PS2 is all built in so its only PS2 compatible.
