I have really been inundated with, you've guessed it - spam over the last few days. all kinds including ones with viruses attached. to various freeola email addresses. can't think why it's suddenly happening. anyone else experiencing a similar glut?

Just checked my accounts DL they are all Freedom, perhaps I should upgrade them? I have 3 addresses in use, 2 are completely spam free at the moment but my main account is still suffering.

Can honestly say pete, if you have the opportunity and it is free to Freeola users, then upgrade to EmailPro. I've 6 addresses on Pro and 1 left on Freedom. Spam has been non-existent since I changed, on both strangely :¬)

Just checked my accounts DL they are all Freedom, perhaps I should upgrade them? I have 3 addresses in use, 2 are completely spam free at the moment but my main account is still suffering. I am also getting multiple Euro Dice mails as well as similar ones such as Karamba (I think it's called) and the usual selection of fake watches & manhood enhancing vitamins! Just checked my webmail and it looks as though I have had another with a virus attachment in it (sender was NACHA) this morning, I have deleted that now but I could send a few in if it would be of any use? Although it would appear that I'm only getting the same crap as everyone else.

Hello,

Commenting here. I'm aware of this now and I'll make sure the Support guys are. Thanks for forwarding the emails Hmmm, I'm sure they'll be useful. Having just checked, Gerylisting is still there (it puts a link in the mail header) but I can't say whether it's working as it should yet, this will need to be looked into.

Thanks Eccles.

I've just been recommending you over on TBB while you were writing that! :¬)

Around 20 spams from 'Euro Dice' overnight:

Win big with incredible free welcome bonus at Festival Club Casino!

They've been sent to both my registered domains and some free IP3 one's I use from Freeola. A client has also just asked me if anything can be done as they are also seeing these 'Euro Dice' emails.

I'll forward some samples to abuse@ freeola

This all seemed to have started (for many Freeola accounts) a few days ago - could Freeola please comment so we know you are aware of this?

Thanks.

Haha :¬D

But on a more serious note...and to hide your 'nefarious email activity', when you view/edit email addresses within MyFreeola are you a red star or a yellow star? Red is Pro and Yellow is well, Freedom!

At the bottom of your email addresses list is a key

Think it must be the standard one DL, just had a quick peek in my Freeola settings and can't seem to find any mention that I'm a pro-emailer (could be wrong though). Just had another spamtastic mail through from Rudy Rios from dirtythird.com, I'll be honest that one did take some explaining to the Mrs! :)

All I will add is that I should be alright for fake Rolex watches for the foreseeable....

But yeah, getting them as well (not all accounts though?).

EDIT: Also had one with a virus earlier today, ESET zapped it.

But what are you using pete ... Pro or Freedom?

Hi webcity1,
Yes, me too! :¬( I didn't want to be the first to say, as always...

I'm seeing it over a range of Freeola accounts so guessed others would be seeing it.

As DL says my EmailPro accounts aren't getting hit.

Can Freeola check to see if their greylisting filters etc. are still working? If you (Freeola) want samples please say.

I see some of the spammers are also spoofing the 'from' address to my Freeola ones which isn't good!
