2. We might consider an interim status between the current range and banned. I favour "learner" for the status tag and pink for the name colour to warn of danger. We could call them "pinkies".
Changes would appear to be necessary to improve the written content.
They could be a kind of slushy brown colour or perhaps the mouldy-green colour of dead matter.
The forum rules need to be tightened, by lots. One strike sees you demoted to pink (or whatever), with a one month probation period. A second strike and you're banned. Make excessive swearing or spamming, blatant trolling or repeated flaming a strikeable offense. Posting pornography, racism or other highly unsuitable material should result in an instant ban. If necessary, give a selection of the Notables moderator privileges to help enforce these rules.

It sounds alright, but there should be pink for regulars and black for newbies when this happens, as less regualars get banned, less pink would appear, causing less seizures to people scrolling down the threads
Or maybe a probationars forum, where only probationars can post but regulars can post therealso, much like the topic starting them in FOG prime
